"Take care of yourself"

"See you later."

"Hahaha, I'm definitely getting a good sleep when I get back."

Everyone said their goodbyes and left, leaving only Aoki, Mitsuri,Tamayo, and the Kocho sisters.

Even though it was Aoki who had brought them together, he regretted that he could only do so much—picking them up, but not sending them off.

The five of them strolled under the moonlight, and the atmosphere was cheerful.

Kanae sighed, "It still feels like a dream. Muzan Kibutsuji died so easily."

"It wasn't easy at all," Aoki shook his head.

In terms of stamina, Muzan Kibutsuji was undoubtedly the most resilient of all the demons Aoki had faced. Although it wasn't a particularly dangerous fight, it was certainly exhausting.

And, it wasn't just the battle itself. They had been preparing to kill Muzan Kibutsuji for a long time, making poisons, setting up plans, and so on.

"The aging drug was practically useless, and the cell-damaging poison didn't have much effect either," Tamayo remarked. "Thankfully, Mr. Aoki was strong enough."

"The aging poison did have some effect; otherwise, Muzan wouldn't have destroyed so quickly," Aoki replied.

His battle with Muzan had lasted about twenty minutes in total, which meant that Muzan had aged about 2,000 years during that time. While those years might have meant little to Muzan in his prime, they were devastating after he'd been weakened by Aoki's "Demon Devourer."

Mitsuri, walking ahead happily, suddenly turned around. "With Muzan Kibutsuji dead, does that mean if we kill all the demons left in the world, there will be no more demons in the future?"

Aoki shook his head. "Once Muzan Kibutsuji died, all the demons under his control perished. The only demons left in this world now are me, Ms. Tamayo, and Yushiro."

Mitsuri blinked. "Is that so? That's great!"

The others looked calm, having already known this.

Aoki stopped and suggested, "Let's head straight back to the Butterfly Estate."

Everyone agreed, and they took his arms on both sides.

In a flash, the world changed.

Aoi, Kanao, and the three little girls sat in a room in silence, all looking very nervous.

Creak.

The sound of the door opening made them all rush out without hesitation, and they saw a man and four women standing in the yard.

Kanae smiled gently and said, "Aoi, Kanao, we have defeated Muzan Kibutsuji."

Kanao looked a bit confused, while Aoi was excited, and the three little girls cheered loudly.

Even though it was very late, everyone was in high spirits. They moved a table into the yard, set out some cakes and snacks, and ate while chatting.

It wasn't until the second half of the night that they finally dispersed.

Aoki returned to his room and, on a whim, activated his system. He hadn't had time to check it earlier, but now he could finally see what he had gained.

The familiar azure blue screen appeared before his eyes.

[Name: Aoki]

[Strength: 26]

[Constitution: 25]

[Intelligence: 25]

[Agility: 25]

[Occupation: Hunter, King of the White Walkers, Martial Artist]

[Free attribute points: 10]

[King of the White Walkers]

Quality: ★★☆

Level: lv20 (0/2000)

Skills: Demon Blood VI, Space Shuttle II, Transparent World II, Demon Devourer II, Soul Shock (not learned yet)

Aoki first checked his job title.

As expected, "White Walker" had advanced to "King of the White Walkers," and its quality had increased from two stars to two and a half stars. Despite reaching the peak level, he could continue to grow stronger.

After killing Kokushibo and reaching level 20, he had gained a lot of experience. Killing Muzan Kibutsuji had provided even more.

However, none of that experience carried over.

Everything had to start anew.

Aoki looked up and suddenly felt a wave of relief, all the frustration over the lost experience disappearing.

A full 10 free attribute points!

A level 20, two-and-a-half-star profession granted exactly 10 more free attribute points than a level 20, two-star profession.

He had wondered how these points would be distributed if they reappeared, but he didn't expect them to appear directly as attribute points.

Simple and straightforward.

But he liked it.

Ten free attribute points were enough to take his strength to the next level.

"But then again, I'm already invincible in this world, so does it really matter if my strength continues to improve?"

Aoki shook his head, dismissing the thought. Regardless, increasing his strength was always a good thing.

He then looked at the skill bar and noticed a new skill—the third reward from "The Road of the Demon King."

"Soul Shock?"

Aoki's eyes gradually lit up.

His abilities were now almost perfect.

For movement, he had "Space Shuttle," which worked like a combination of flash and teleport with no cooldown time, extremely useful for both attacking and retreating.

He had his own unique style of offense. Although it didn't have a single, devastating move, it was more than sufficient for most situations.

As for defense… it was hardly necessary. With infinite regeneration, he could easily heal any injury.

His perception was covered by "Transparent World," allowing him 360-degree awareness without relying on his eyes and even providing a predictive edge.

The only thing he lacked was a control skill.

"Soul Shock" filled that gap.

As the name suggests, "Soul Shock" is a mental attack on the soul. In mild cases, it can cause confusion and slow movements, while in severe cases, it can lead to the soul being destroyed.

It was somewhat similar to Muzan Kibutsuji's shock waves.

However, while Muzan's shock waves targeted the body, "Soul Shock" targeted the soul. The latter was more insidious and harder to defend against, though it didn't cause as much damage as the former.

At close range, Muzan's shock wave could even kill Hashira.

However, "Soul Shock" was unlikely to cause instant death unless there was a massive power gap. It was primarily a control skill, with its effects varying depending on the enemy's strength.

Additionally, against certain special enemies, "Soul Shock" could have miraculous effects.

But Aoki's joy was short-lived as he soon discovered a serious problem.

The current status of "Soul Shock" showed that it could be learned, but the learning requirement was—6 free skill points!

"Well, that's to be expected," Aoki sighed, suppressing his excitement.

After all, it was tied to the "King of the White Walkers."

He had hoped to learn it with just one skill point, but that was clearly impossible.

Six skill points were acceptable, but the real question was—where would he get them?

Currently, there were three ways for him to obtain skill points: quests, leveling up, and devouring demons.

The first option could only be waited upon passively.

As for the second and third, both required killing demons.

But with Muzan Kibutsuji dead, only three demons remained in the world, including himself. Where would he collect enough skill points now?
