Chapter 23 - Anlow

"To someone who says he's lazy, he seems pretty excited," Dmitry said, standing up from the chair and looking at Trins, who responded, "I'm not lazy, I'm just not used to this human body yet."

"Don't worry, Trins. Soon, you'll get used to the human body and be able to give your best for the master," Luke said, leaving the house and stopping outside, turning to face forward and waiting for us.

"Well, okay... but I'll never reach your level," Trins said, making the rabbit disappear and starting to leave the house. I quickly followed them.

"Let's go. Someone needs to find their place in this world," Dmitry said, signaling to the two while running toward the marked spot on the map.

"Hey, so you want me to join your group to fight and take control of this world when the Altair key is born?" a voice said from the sky. As the three of us looked up to see where the sound was coming from, a body covered in gray scales with purple details, a pair of blue horns with yellow accents appeared, and as the dust settled, it revealed the full appearance of the first of the arms.

[Arm - Anlow - The Dragonian]

[Mandatory Mission - The Future Ruler's Weapons]

[Convince the weapons to come under your command so that the day of the ruler's birth is not an impossible mission to complete]

' Mandatory? So, I can't finish them alone after all? ' Dmitry thought, looking at the game windows displaying the mission when Anlow jumped towards us, attacking me directly. He was stopped by Trins, who created two shadow swords that crossed each other, growing in size and crushing both blades into the ground, throwing Anlow aside.

"Hey, wake up. I'm getting tired, and I don't like this dragon," Trins said, stopping Luke, who was angry that Anlow had attacked me without warning. "You damned dragon, don't you have any pride, attacking someone unprotected?"

Anlow gave a strange smile, pointing at me as I stepped in front of the shadow swords, saying, "You two just sit and watch because Anlow will only come with us if we pass the test."

"So, you know my name? Interesting... because you seem to be the leader, but the girl behind you seems much stronger," Anlow said, his body igniting with red flames just as Luke got irritated by the way Anlow was talking about my strength.

"In a way, you're not wrong, but I'm sure I'm more than enough to give you a fun fight," Dmitry said, looking at Anlow.

"Fun," I said, looking at Anlow and signaling to Trins, who closed her palms, creating a black energy between them. As she separated her hands, a completely black scythe was formed. She grabbed it by the blade's edge, throwing it towards me. It stopped in the air as I grabbed it, letting the blade rest on the ground. Looking at Anlow, I said, "Let's see what you have to say to me, future ruler."

Anlow began punching the air, emitting immense heat and firing several projectiles of various shapes made of fire. Dmitry deflected all the projectiles, cutting through them while running towards him. He jumped, throwing the scythe, and struck, embedding the scythe's tip into Anlow's chin. Anlow grabbed the blade with his hands, throwing it upwards and then delivering a direct punch to Dmitry's face. Smiling, he threw his weight forward, tossing me away. He then jumped, grabbing my face in the air, slammed my foot into the ground, and hurled me against the ceiling.

"This is boring. Weren't you supposed to give me an interesting fight?" Anlow said, wiping the blood from his skin with his finger.

"Thank you," I said, flipping in the air and grabbing the scythe that was falling towards the ground. Holding the scythe, Dmitry spun, using his feet on the scythe's blade to propel himself, launching towards Anlow. Anlow stopped him, holding the scythe blade between his elbows, peeling off his scales. He stood up and threw me down, releasing the blade towards the ground. He hit me on the back with his hand, using it as support while throwing me towards the ground. He kicked my face, forcing Dmitry to stop and defend himself by putting his arm in front of his face. Turning his hand, he grabbed Anlow's leg and threw him away.

"So, are you having fun?" Dmitry said, falling to the ground and standing up. He picked up the scythe and ran towards Anlow, who revealed his horns and began punching the ground. The ground cracked, releasing countless lava jets, all heading towards Dmitry. With a look of happiness, Anlow said, "You're not that strong, but I feel like being with you will lead to many fights ahead. Now, let's end this." Anlow jumped onto one of the lava jets, running towards Dmitry.

"I think it's better to create a shield," Trins said, gathering a sphere of dark energy between her hands.

"Don't worry, Trins. The master doesn't need it," Luke said, watching the fight while Trins, looking at him in confusion, said, "But I wasn't talking about him; I was talking about us."

"You're right. Join me, and you'll have undeniably strong opponents to have fun with," Dmitry said, cutting through the jets and deflecting them away from him. Passing by Anlow, he hooked the scythe blade into Anlow's elbow, pulling him down, and started hitting him multiple times with the scythe.

"Let's stop. If this continues, we'll just waste energy and won't be able to face the next opponents," Anlow said, dodging the blows.

"Can I say welcome to my team, Anlow?" Dmitry said as he saw the game screen glowing in front of him, showing the mission's result and the location of the next arm.
