Dmitry looked around. The house was a complete mess, everything overturned, with black stains everywhere caused by the Phoenix's flames.
"She got pretty bored without us here," Mirian said.
"You should have come back to check on her," Dmitry replied.
"I was busy, remember?" Mirian said.
Dmitry could see that the question visibly made her uncomfortable.
"Alright, forget about it. Let's just find the Phoenix," Dmitry said.
"Phoenix, where are you?" Mirian called out.
"Phoenix, come here, girl!" Dmitry added.
Mirian and Dmitry wandered around searching for the Phoenix for more than five minutes when, suddenly, a red streak flew in front of Mirian and hit Dmitry, pushing him out of the house and through a wall.
Mirian blinked a few times, looking at the hole in the wall. Further ahead, she saw Dmitry lying on the ground, the Phoenix on his chest, moving around non-stop.
"Turns out she found us," Mirian said.
