"HELLO, Miss Baek. My name is Choi Ira— Guildmaster Han Wooju's stylist and personal shopper."
Oh.
Gyubin bowed politely towards the older woman. "Thank you so much for making Wooju-ssi handsome and stylish, Miss Choi. Your work is a masterpiece. I enjoy looking at Wooju-ssi's face well."
"Pfft."
That muffled laugh didn't come from Choi Ira.
Well, Choi Ira smiled a little and thanked Gyubin for her kind words.
But the one who couldn't control his laughter well was the man in a neat suit standing next to Wooju.
I feel like I've seen him somewhere, though.
"I apologize for laughing, Miss Baek," the strange(?) man said. "I'm Kang Jaemoo— Han Wooju's manager if he's working as a Hunter, and his chief secretary if he's working as the CEO of Summer Square."
Ah, right!
This man is often pictured with Wooju-ssi, so he looks familiar to me.
Gyubin bowed her head again. "Hello, Mr. Kang. I'm Baek Gyubin. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"The pleasure is mine, Miss Baek," Kang Jaemoo said politely. "I'm looking forward to working with you from this moment on."
Hmm?
"Jaemoo Hyung and Ira Noona are married," Wooju said indifferently. "They've been working for our family way before the Rift Day, so my sister and I trust them. You can also trust them, Gyubin."
Gyubin nodded in understanding. "They know about our contract marriage?"
Wooju nodded. "In case you need me and I'm either unavailable or raiding a dungeon, you can ask Jaemoo Hyung and Ira Noona for anything. They'll help you in my place."
Oh, right.
Wooju-ssi is a busy person, so he can't always be my side.
"Both Jaemoo Hyung and Ira Noona signed an NDA to keep our relationship a secret, so you can trust them."
Even about her disease?
"Wooju-ssi, come here," Gyubin said while beckoning Wooju to come near her using her hands. Of course, she made sure she was still being respectful since Wooju was still older than her. "I have a question."
She would have just texted him, but she didn't know his number.
Wooju walked towards her casually. "What is it?"
"Bend down a little," Gyubin said while standing on her toes. "You're too tall."
Wooju leaned forward without a word.
Oh, my.
This man really smells good.
Gyubin shook her head before she covered her mouth with her hand and whispered. "Do they know about my disease?"
"No, they don't. Only Dr. Im and I know," Wooju whispered back. "Do you want to tell them?"
"As you said earlier, you can't always be by my side. They have to know about my disease so they'd know how to help me properly in case I get sick and you're not with me."
She survived before with only Hunter Park Dong-min and his wife's help.
But it was different now that she had a baby in her womb.
And this baby is important since they're destined to save the world.
"Alright," Wooju said, nodding while standing up properly. "Do you want me to tell them, or would you rather do it yourself?"
"I'll do it," Gyubin said, and then she faced Choi Ira and Kang Jaemoo again. "Hello, again. I'm Baek Gyubin. I have Bloom Disease, and I only have one year left to live." She bowed politely. "Please take care of me until my time is up."

"WOW," Gyubin was amazed by the change of clothes that Choi Ira brought for her. "These are all luxury brands, Unnie."
Yes, Choi Ira told her to just call her 'unnie.'
The stylist-slash-personal shopper was ten years older than Gyubin, after all.
Ira Unnie looks strict, so I thought she wouldn't like me. But she's nice. Maybe she just can't help that she has a cold aura?
"Gyubin-ah, you should get used to being decorated with luxury brands from head to toe starting today," Choi Ira said, giving her a small smile. "When my husband told me about you, I did a little research on you. I looked at the pictures of airport outfits in particular to know your personal style. Then I chose the clothes I brought today based on what I think would suit you without losing your personal touch. But, if none of the clothes I brought are your style, then don't hesitate to tell me. I can ask my people to bring more clothes here."
Wow.
This experience was truly overwhelming.
Choi Ira didn't just bring clothes— she also brought shoes and matching accessories.
Luxury jewelry, too!
"I feel like a main character," Gyubin said, laughing softly. "I'm in my Cinderella era!"

"NOW I know why you can't say 'no' to that child."
Wooju, who was busy ignoring all the text messages and calls he received from his older sister, raised his head. "What?"
He and Kang Jaemoo were in the smoking area of the hospital.
They left the room to give Baek Gyubin privacy while changing into the clothes that Choi Ira brought.
"If Miss Baek has Bloom Disease, then she's obviously one of the victims of the Nami Island Tragedy," Kang Jaemoo said, shaking his head. "This is why President Lim banned you from getting in touch with the survivors of that incident— you get too emotional when it comes to them."
He frowned at what his manager pointed out.
It was also the cause of the rift between Wooju and President Lim Hojin.
No matter how much I tried to look for the survivors of that tragedy in order to help them, I never succeeded because President Lim was always one step ahead of me.
President Lim also ordered his friends to stop him, so he was forced to let go of the case.
"That kid Kim Gyuri."
Wooju flinched when Kang Jaemoo mentioned that name out loud.
"Do you see Kim Gyuri in Baek Gyubin?" Kang Jaemoo asked, puffing out smoke. "I only saw Kim Gyuri's picture once before the higher-ups burned all her records after her death. But Baek Gyubin kind of resembles her, doesn't she?"
That was news to him.
I have a good memory, but when it comes to that incident, I barely remember anything except the tragic ending.
Moreover, he only met Kim Gyuri in person once.
Wooju tilted his head to one side. "Baek Gyubin resembles Kim Gyuri?"
***
"TADA!" Gyubin said while twirling around in front of Wooju. "This is the first time you've seen me dolled up, right?"
The first time Wooju saw her, she was in her pajamas.
Well, that was the case the following days because all she had to wear in the hospital were comfy pajamas.
She didn't even have her makeup kit.
But Ira Unnie performed her magic on me!
Gyubin wasn't a natural beauty, but she looked pretty enough to be an idol.
That was how she could pull off the tweed pleats dress that she ended up picking from the clothes that Choi Ira brought. She paired it with a pair of pumps that matched the muted color of the dress.
Choi Ira also put simple makeup on her face, and styled her short red hair so that it would look messy in a stylish way.
Now I don't look like a potato next to Wooju-ssi.
"You didn't recognize me, did you?" Gyubin said, standing proudly in front of Wooju. And then she suddenly got conscious when she realized that he was staring intently at her face. "W-Why are you looking at me like that, Wooju-ssi? I know I'm not on your level, but I'd say my face is still slightly above average. Well, I did some cosmetic procedures to enhance my beauty…"
"Plastic surgery?" Wooju asked, surprised. "You changed your face?"
'Changed' her face?!
This punk…
