LEE AE-RA, the daughter of the recently deceased grandma who used to own a noodle shop, awakened as a Hunter a few weeks after her grandmother's death.
Park Bong, the grandson of the recently deceased grandpa who used to sell King Crabs in the Ongsan Fish Market, also awakened as a Hunter at the same time Lee Ae-ra did.
The village celebrated, calling it a "gift" from their dead loved ones.
"Ae-ra Unnie and Bong Oppa both received the same abilities as their grandma and grandpa, respectively," Gyuri said, clenching her hands together. "Is it really possible to inherit the abilities of your relative?"
"I'm not sure," Jung Sihun said. "Even I find it odd. There are siblings, cousins, and parent-and-child Hunters who awakened at the same time. But this is the first time I saw someone inherit their deceased grandparent's ability."
