"Come on, this is the cafeteria! You'll blow up the whole place if you two fight here," said a calm, authoritative voice. Mirion's expression changed when he saw the person was
Mirion's expression shifted to one of surprise and annoyance. "Prince August, why are you here? Do you have any reason to intervene in this fight?"
"Well, I didn't have a reason until you made it my problem by attacking someone and nearly destroying the cafeteria," replied August coolly.
Mirion clenched his fists and said, "Then what about an official duel between me and Arthur, with our lives on the line?"
As Mirion challenged Arthur to a duel, Arthur hesitated, worried about his weak element. The prospect of death loomed over him if he lost. As he pondered, Gimir suddenly spoke inside his head, "Don't worry, accept this duel."
"But what if I die?" Arthur asked anxiously.
"Don't worry, I have the necessary power to save you," reassured Gimir.
"What do you mean?" Arthur exclaimed.
"My previous master, Velcane Cifer, imbued me with a power when he created me. I can briefly take control of your body, and those few seconds will be enough to finish him off," explained Gimir.
"Well, if you say so, I will say yes," Arthur replied.
Gritting his teeth, he looked at Mirion and said, "Fine. I accept. I will fight and defeat you, Mirion Sailma.
The scene shifted to a large area behind the main building of the school. The ground was spacious, drawing attention due to the news of Arthur and Mirion's duel spreading rapidly—not due to their family status, but because one wielded the formidable fire attribute while the other possessed the perceived weakest, wind attribute. This distinction attracted a crowd, and after a while, everyone settled in anticipation as the bell rang, signaling the start of the fight.
As soon as the bell rang, Mirion began preparing a spell. While he chanted, he taunted, "You should have declined the duel when you had the chance, you idiot. You're as good as dead now. I'll kill you with my ultimate move, '
As he finished speaking, a ball of dark red fire materialized in front of his hand, ready to be unleashed. Meanwhile, Arthur was urgently communicating with Gimir inside his head.
"What are you doing, Gimir? Wake up and take control of my body!" Arthur implored.
"I'm trying. It's not like I'm used to this," Gimir replied, struggling.
The Flame Explosion was just a finger's breadth away from Arthur when Gimir suddenly shouted in his mind, "Oh, it's done now!"
Gimir had entered Arthur's body, causing Arthur's eyes to glow with a light cyan color. Arthur began emitting an aura powerful enough to intimidate anyone nearby. In a split second, he dodged the flame explosion as if time had stopped when Gimir took over his body.
After dodging the attack, Arthur immediately rushed to the right corner and began preparing a spell called Wind Spear. The Wind Spear was a powerful ball of wind capable of destroying anything in its path. Mirion was still in shock, unable to comprehend how Arthur had survived the explosion. By the time he looked at Arthur again, Arthur had already completed forming his spell.
In a split second, Arthur closed the distance between them, getting close enough to strike Mirion with a fist. Without hesitation, Arthur unleashed the Wind Spear, directing its destructive force straight at Mirion causing Mirion his life.
Mirion's clothes were burned away by the impact. His bones were shattered, and his limbs torn apart. Mirion was dead, but everything happened so quickly that nobody even realized it at first. After a moment of stunned silence, Prince August, who had been watching the scene from afar, approached to confirm that Arthur had won and that Mirion was indeed dead. When Prince August announced Arthur's victory, there was a slight hesitation in his voice; he had never expected Arthur to win. The crowd began to gossip about the fight.
"Really? The fight is over?" a boy from the crowd exclaimed.
"Yeah, isn't he supposed to be the weakest?" a girl remarked.
"What the heck even happened? Did he win?" another asked.
Arthur stood unmoving, still releasing that same powerful aura. August tried to speak to him, but received no response. Arthur seemed like a statue. In reality, Gimir had accidentally stayed in Arthur's body for a little longer than expected, causing a delay in returning control to Arthur. This struggle between their souls rendered Arthur silent.
After a while, Arthur suddenly collapsed. His clothes were tattered as if slashed by some kind of blade, and his body was covered in scars and cracks. Alarmed, August yelled, "Hospital! Somebody take him to the hospital!"
