A middle aged man can be seen running with a superhuman speed in a dark forest, his clothes bloodied and torn in many places, with a small child in his left arm. Three hideous wolves with a monstrous size of 2M can be seen running behind, drooling by seeing the human. Stunned as their prey suddenly turns around with a blood red katana in his hand running towards them with emotionless face, which sends shivers down their spine feeling as if they have turned into prey from predator, but their hunger for human flesh overcame them and their group leader lunges at the human wanting to taste his flesh first.
The man vertically slashes his katana with a graceful moment accompanied with a red hue which was giving a terrifying feeling, at the wolf, who without caring about any defense bites his shoulder and it winced because of deep slash left by the sword but failed to kill it, without caring about pain it digs its teeth deeper in the shoulder. With a pained expression the man started losing strength of his left hand where the wolf was latched, fearing his child may get harmed because of the clash, he plans to end the skirmish quickly, with renewed determination he dodges the second wolf, who lunges to his right side, sieging the opening he pierces the heart of the wolf who is biting his shoulder. The wolf lost his strength and falls on the ground dead.
Blood dripping from his shoulder, he tried hard to stop the dizziness coming from losing too much blood, because of the skirmish the baby wakes up from her sleep started crying loudly upon seeing the blood dripping from her father's shoulder, which attracts the attention of the remaining two wolves, taking the chance the man steps forward and slashed at the second wolf which failed to dodge the attack and with a deep gash at its neck it died with regret of not tasting flesh of the human like his leader did. Upon seeing death of the two wolves the third wolf ran away howling from the fear of the human whom he thought would be a delicious meal.
"huff…huff…"exhausted by the intense battle he leans on nearby tree, putting his katana back to its scabbard, he then carefully puts his baby on the cushion which he takes out from his bag, then he takes out a bottle with red liquid inside of it slowly pour some of it inside his daughter's mouth, after taking some sips she stopped crying and with a satisfied face she sleep tight in her father's arm without caring about her surroundings.
"What a glutton she is" sighs watching his daughter "well dreamer's blood is certainly effective for this little half vampire" while treating his wounds he comments, watching his daughter sleeping soundly with a soft smile on corner of his lips, which makes him look like a mature and caring father.
After that he takes out a beautiful ring from his bagpacks side pocket, pours some of his blood on the ring, it suddenly twinkle and he wears the ring, after concentrating on the ring for some time a tube of blue liquid pops out, he immediately drinks the liquid and his wounds start to heal at a visible rate.
"Should I feel amused or regretful by the changes in this world" ponders Skylar carefully adjusting his daughter in his healed arm, he started leaving the place to find a shelter before night, when its time of terrifying predator to hunt for their food, afraid of being turned into their food he hurriedly search for a shelter.
A shadow came out of the tree where Skylar was resting a moment ago it creeply started laughing remembering the whole interaction of Skylar and wolves "what a delicious souls he have, after so many decades I will be having a human soul just the thought of it id giving me so much joy I have to hurry or It will consume my sanity" a male with dark skin, visible purple veins all over his body, three blood red eyes and two purple horns adorned its face which made him look like a demon from fairy tales talked to himself while giving of a terrifying killing intent, other small creatures started running away from him in a crazy state.
