He awoke as chamira ant but this is only stage 1 of their evolution.as awoke he realized that their is information of his abilities(go to auxiliary chapter for his abilities)

He saw a butterfly which is nearing its old age so he waited patiently for the butterfly to die(after waiting for some time)
Now its dead so let eat he says and he goes to butterfly starts eating it after finishing it he starts to feel sluggish so he goes under the root of the tree and is knocked out
