"Alright, Lord, what is—" Joy began to respond, but before she could finish, Lein's dream energy began to envelop her. In an instant, Joy felt her body grow light, as if being pulled by something unseen.
"Apologies, but I need to check your background for a moment," Lein said, still in his calm tone. The dream energy moved gently yet with absolute control. Joy soon fell into a deep sleep, though her mind and vital functions remained alert.
