That is the profundity of Hualizing Strength.
For a master of Manifested Strength, a punch with three hundred pounds of force is considered supernatural.
A master of Obscured Strength can control their mind and cultivate bone-marrow refining techniques, transforming their blood and marrow. Their punch can reach five hundred pounds of force.
A master of Hualized Strength wields eight hundred pounds per punch, comparable to a small mecha.
As for the lofty realm of a Terrestrial Immortal, they condense all their strength into a single pellet.
This is the convergence of all laws!
It can also be called a Golden Pill!
A Golden Pill Master!
Once the Golden Pill forms within their body, they can concentrate all their power and vital essence into a single mass. When unleashed, its destructive might is terrifyingly invincible.
Chen Yang had lingered at the peak of Hualized Strength for three years but struggled to take that final step.
Moreover, in all these years, Chen Yang rarely encountered true Golden Pill Masters. Those beings were as rare as phoenix feathers and qilin horns in this world.
After about an hour of cultivation, Chen Yang's spirit, energy, and mental state had recovered to their peak condition. At that moment, he heard footsteps approaching from outside.
With his exceptional hearing, Chen Yang immediately recognized it was Su Qing. He could even clearly detect ants crawling or mice scurrying within the room.
A knock sounded at the door. Chen Yang promptly went to open it.
As the door opened, he saw the radiant Su Qing standing outside. Her hair was tousled and curled, evidently freshly blow-dried. She wore a white maxi dress, with her exquisite collarbones and ample bosom exposed, enhancing her magnificence.
Chen Yang also noticed that Su Qing had dolled herself up, appearing even more breathtakingly beautiful.
For a moment, intoxicated by her fragrance, Chen Yang found himself entranced, struggling to regain his senses as memories of her bathing resurfaced.
"Sister Qing!" Chen Yang stuttered.
Seeing his reaction, Su Qing's heart swelled with joy. After all, what woman doesn't love to look beautiful? No matter how well-adorned, it is ultimately for self-gratification.
Su Qing smiled faintly and said, "You must be hungry, right? Let's go, I'll treat you to a meal."
Chen Yang felt surprised but replied, "Okay."
After freshening up, he left with Su Qing and drove his Charade car.
"Where would you like to eat?" Chen Yang asked Su Qing.
Instead, Su Qing asked him, "Where would you like to go?"
Chen Yang chuckled and said, "Wherever you want to go, Sister Qing."
Su Qing, amused by his smooth-talking, suggested, "Let's go somewhere nicer today, how about Western Coffee?"
Chen Yang wasn't picky about food, so he agreed, "Sure."
Familiar with Western Coffee, he promptly drove them there. The cafe wasn't too crowded at the time, and they found a booth with partitions, perfect for middle-aged couples seeking privacy.
Su Qing took the menu and ordered without consulting Chen Yang. The steaks here were excellent, so she ordered two portions, along with pizza, fruit salad, and more – quite a sumptuous meal!
Chen Yang couldn't fathom Su Qing's intentions but didn't dwell on it.
After ordering, the server left them.
A song by Gloria Karn played in the cafe, "That Year's Love Letter," its melancholic lyrics evoking lingering affection:
How much youth remains in these hands?
How much more yearning and torment?
An old comb, inadvertently cleaned,
Leaving traces of time's passage.
May your world be well,
When I recall your smile,
Unintentionally re-reading that year's love letter,
As time passes, and youth fades away...
Chen Yang, being straightforward, felt little stirred by the lyrics. However, Su Qing seemed utterly entranced, her eyes reddening.
Concerned, Chen Yang asked, "Sister Qing, what's wrong?"
Su Qing snapped back to her senses and looked at Chen Yang, who averted his gaze shyly.
Su Qing withdrew her gaze and said abruptly, "Chen Yang, do you believe?"
"Believe what?" Chen Yang asked, slightly puzzled.
Su Qing explained, "I once thought I was the princess, the lead of my own story, like the female protagonists in idol dramas."
Chen Yang paused briefly, then smiled, "I suppose every boy dreams of being a hero or prince. And every girl dreams of being a princess. That's normal."
Su Qing shook her head, "It's not what you think. From elementary school to middle school, high school, and university, I was always among the top ten students, an honor student and campus belle. Back then, I had many pursuers, and they treated me like a goddess on a pedestal. Some excellent young men would become elated just because I spoke a few words to them. I truly believed I was favored by fate, that I was the lead heroine. I thought my man would be someone extraordinary and accomplished."
Chen Yang fell silent, at a loss for words.
Su Qing continued, "But I was so terribly wrong. Reality proved that I was just a short-sighted fool of a woman. I insisted on marrying Xu Zhi, leading me to my current predicament. It's my own fault. Many times, when I dream of my university days in the middle of the night, I want to cry. I'm no heroine; I'm just an ordinary, foolish woman."
"Sister Qing, don't say that about yourself," Chen Yang said solemnly. "In my eyes, you're more outstanding than any other woman."
Su Qing looked at Chen Yang, her eyes full of complexity. "I've thought a lot today, Chen Yang. Do you know?"
Chen Yang could imagine Su Qing's struggle. He said, "What conclusion did you reach?"
Su Qing replied, "Choosing Xu Zhi back then was my lack of vision. Now, I know you're an extraordinary person, and I know you were planning to move away. If you leave, I may never see you again, and we'll have no more ties. I won't have any more troubles. But I think, perhaps you're the opportunity Heaven has given me? Should I make the wrong choice again after choosing wrongly with Xu Zhi? I want to give myself another chance."
Chen Yang's heart instantly raced with excitement and elation. He understood that Su Qing was considering choosing him.
Overjoyed, Chen Yang uttered, "Sister Qing..."
However, Su Qing appeared remarkably calm, unlike her usual shyness. She looked at Chen Yang sincerely, her eyes clear and captivating.
"Chen Yang, can you stay and not leave?" Su Qing requested.
Chen Yang, unsure of her intentions once more, regained his composure and said, "But aren't you afraid I'll cause you a lot of trouble?"
Su Qing shook her head, "I'm not afraid."
Chen Yang took a deep breath and said, "Alright, I won't leave." He truly didn't want to leave Su Qing and that beautiful bathroom either.
Su Qing then said, "But Chen Yang, can you promise me one more thing?"
"Sure, what is it?" Chen Yang readily agreed.
"Let's interact as we used to? I need some time to consider many things, and I'm not prepared yet. I think you understand my situation and should think things through too, right?"
Chen Yang paused briefly, then said, "Sister Qing, I'll follow your lead."
After the meal, Chen Yang drove Su Qing home. They bid each other good night and returned to their respective rental rooms.
Night had fallen, and a bright moon hung in the starry sky, breathtakingly beautiful.
Chen Yang fell into contemplation. Until now, he had always followed his desires. His affection for Su Qing was genuine, as was his desire for her body. But he had never delved deeper into considering other aspects, such as Su Qing's circumstances or future.
Su Qing had experienced a failed marriage. She couldn't be trifled with. If he truly wanted to be with her, he would have to marry her and give her a wonderful future to be responsible.
Su Qing was different from the women Chen Yang had encountered before. In the past, Chen Yang moved from one flower to another, each taking what they needed for fleeting pleasure. But with Su Qing, that approach clearly wouldn't work.
Chen Yang was twenty-four this year. Growing up without parents, he followed his master's teachings. Later, he roamed abroad, his hands stained with blood and violence. He had never considered having a family, getting married, or having children.
These things seemed too distant for him. So at this moment, Chen Yang felt hesitant about Su Qing. He feared the confines of marriage, yet was utterly infatuated with Su Qing, even her body.
Chen Yang spent a restless night, tossing and turning, tormented by these conflicting thoughts.
Finally, by the next morning, he had made up his mind. He would keep his distance from Su Qing, gradually diminishing these feelings, and eventually leave. He was a free wind, unwilling to linger for anyone.
At eight o'clock, Chen Yang woke up. When he went to wash up, he found that Su Qing was already in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
Just as he finished washing up, Su Qing brought out two steaming bowls of noodles. "Hurry and clean up, then come to my room for breakfast," Su Qing said with an enchanting smile.
Her radiant charm in that moment was utterly captivating.
Chen Yang couldn't help but smile back, "Okay!"
After tidying up, Chen Yang joined Su Qing in her room. She had poured him milk and pulled up a chair, awaiting his arrival like a honored guest. Her attentiveness knew no bounds.
"Come, eat up," Su Qing said with a faint smile.
Sunlight streamed in, bathing Su Qing's figure and hair in a golden glow. The loose strands cascaded down her back, making her resemble a divine beauty lost in the mortal realm.
Chen Yang was momentarily entranced.
"Sister Qing, you're so beautiful," he finally said.
Su Qing's cheeks flushed slightly. "I'm already old. How can I be beautiful? Stop the flattery," she chided.
But Chen Yang insisted, "In my heart, you are the most beautiful."
