Chapter one
The wind blew, causing a cold atmosphere although, with a faint sun.
Scarlene walked into the school, MAGICAL COLLEGE.
SCARLENE'S POV
'OMG' I exclaimed, the sight of a fight enthralled me. The atmosphere changed as if 'twas about raining, lightning escaped from one's hand as I could see how he struck the other who held it with his wand.
"Scarlene dear" My aunt called. I turned, her face were now teary and pale.
" I'm gonna miss you dear " Her cracked voice manage speaking as she pulled me to a hug.
My heart was puzzled, she never followed me in, she only stopped at the entrance,
"when will you come? " I felt tears trickle down my cheeks
"Don't know baby. remember I'm always there for you" she said as I could only nod.
"Follow me down to the principal's office "
"Brace up" she slacked behind, patted my shoulders.
"Don't worry, I've made all necessary payments including feeding. Just be you" She relieved herself off my bag as she vanished.
My bones weakened, how will I survive a magical school when I have none.
I carried my bag as the lightning showed up again, moving towards it as I hid behind a tree not to be seen when I stepped on a stick.
"who's there? " One of them asked as I clinged to the tree. A lightning struck ahead of me, being afraid of being caught, I ran .
"Stop right there!" another voice exclaimed. My legs were trapped in what seemed like a hole as I trembled in fear. I could see the colour of his eyes, they looked like that of a demon. Red as he made the wind hover around me.
He stroke another lightning towards my direction but an unknown force defaulted it. He stroked again, the force returned it as he fell. I pulled my leg out, running away, my bag on my head.
I stopped, panting heavily.
The students were all looking at me as I walked to the principal's office.
" Good morning ma'am " I greeted when I was in.
"Good morning dear. if I'm not mistaken, you're Hale"
"Yes ma'am, Scarlene Hale"
she brought out a form, her gaze at me.
"Scarlene Hale? "she called.
"yes ma'am "
"uhm.. Hale I'm not sure your admission form was filled completely, buh, your admission was processed. " she flipped through the pages of my form. "what power do you possess? "
"power" my heart skipped as I mumbled the word.
"yes, power, as a student of magical college, you ought to possess a power"
" I get it ma'am, but I.. I d..ont have any " I stammered.
"it's impossible Hale" Her eyes sought mine.
"Scarlene actually "
"OK.. Scarlene, no student here has no power, it is a magical school and if you don't have, you're doomed and it's very impossible 'Cus you're not gonna be here. That's an expulsion. " The word expulsion made me tremble in fear, It took me minutes to know she had my name ringing in her lips for the past five minutes
"Hale? " she slammed her hands against her desk, giving a loud noise and jolting me off my fears
"yes ma'am " I exhaled deeply.
"What's the power? " she asked.
'You've got to think Scarlene ' I clasped my hands , her brows raised in anticipation of an answer.
"Ma'am, it.. it's unspeakable, anyone who hears it, departs " I said in a low tone.
"Stop playing pranks Hale" That deadly glare...
"I'm not lying ma'am " I kept my face up, in confidence and for some moments, she could only look at it, then, gave a long sigh.
"Room 29, shallow hostel" she passed a paper to me, requesting for my signature, which I did quickly.
"Im watching you" she adjusted her glasses.
"Hale.... Scarlene. Drop your bag, classes first"
AUTHORESS POV
**The Hot's mansion**
"Going to class today?" Olive asked.
"Yep, sure. Can't seem to miss my dear today!" Hazel screamed, packing her bag.
"Then we're all going, right?" Olive stared at Tristna who began buckling her shoes.
"Good to go"Tristna smiled.
"Coming to meet you babe" Hazel kissed a portrait that lay on her marble work.
"Don't be silly Hazel, who knows what Berry would be doing now"
"Kissing mine" Hazel gave a beam of smile as the trio left.
They are called the 'HOT', the most famous female students in magical college. Hazel, Olive and Tristna.
Scarlene walked into the class, all eyes were on her, she felt shy, clinging to her bag. Everywhere was silent as if they anticipated her.
"Right there" A teacher pointed for her to seat as she walked quietly to her seat. There was a little noise, following the entrance of the Hot's. Hazel first glance was at Scarlene, scoffing she smiled at her "newbie" she huffed
Then the Boy's entered. They all glanced at Scarlene.
"Newbie?"Olin let out a breath.
"Don't you six think you owe the class an apology?" Master Berlin asked.
"Sorry for the uproar and lateness" Berry apologized
*His voice is cutë..* *OMG!*
"uhm.. before your arrival, we were at something. Hence we have someone new here, we'll like an introduction" He gazed at Scarlene who gently stood.
"I'm Scarlene, Scarlene.. Hale" she tried not to stammer.
"New name too? What power ?"
Scarlene shivered here comes her fear
"uhm...." she inhaled deeply
"uhm?" Master Berlin raised a brow at her.
"Unspeakable sir" she snapped her fingers, having only that to say.
"Unspeakable? we don't know that!" A student exclaimed from the back.
"Show us the unspeakable" another requested.
She was frightened, nervous, terrified, thinking of what next to do.
She brought out her wand, closed her eyes, whispers were hovering on the air..

"What's wrong?"Asked a student, then, she began staggering backwards in pretence, then fainted.
Master Lin could only smirk at the smart moves.
"Berry" Master Lin called. The students stood to see what's wrong. " Help her"
Berry bit his lower lips, brushing his hair with his hand. He walked to her, bending over but she smells fine.
"Stop pretending"He whispered to her ear, walking away when Master Lin thundered his name.
"Berry!"
He turned towards her, smirking. He let out thunder strike but a force stopped it.
'Tsk..maybe it's true she has something' He threw the next thunder with energy, this time, it almost struck Scarlene but she adjusted, standing with no time.
"You want me dead?" She asked with her eyes widened but he could only smirk.
The bell rang immediately
"Class dismissed, go back to your hostels"
"Thank goodness"Scarlene prayed in her heart, finding her way Room 29 shallow hostel. Checking her tally, she knocked..
A blonde hair girl opened.
"wow.." The girl was speechless.."You're Scarlene right? The principal must have known we needed a roommate like you!"
