Ada turned away from the man and began walking slowly, looking at the ground with beads of sweat on her forehead. She suddenly realized, "How could he have known about Kigai Satsujin!? We have kept this a secret from the public." Her eyes widened in shock and she turned her head to look at the man. However, to her surprise, the man shot at her leg from a distance. Ada collapsed to the ground, her leg bleeding, tears welling up in her eyes, and she struggled to move, crawling and snarling in pain. As soon as the man got close to her, he grabbed her hair and began yanking it out. She was in excruciating pain, screamed, and struggled to wrest her hair back from the man while bleeding. Ada was dragged to a small room she could not recognize, where the man inserted needles into her hands and made her scream and cry in pain. Then he retrieved a large bag from the corner of the room, as well as a hockey stick, and began hitting Ada in the head and face with it. He punched her so hard that the wall was covered in blood and her face couldn't be recognized. This is where Ada died. Then he took an extremely sharp tool and began cutting her body into small pieces. After cutting her body into small pieces, he erased every trace of blood and hid the small pieces of Ada's body somewhere.
The next day, Atsuo woke up and went downstairs. As he arrived, he noticed his mother's tense expression. Without wasting any time, he asked her what was wrong. Gerda looked worried and exclaimed, "Atsuo, Ada hasn't returned home yet!" Atsuo, in a firm tone, replied, "I'm sure she's fine, Mom. She probably stayed back at work."
However, Gerda still seemed unconvinced and said, "But she didn't inform us about it." Atsuo, with an assertive voice, responded, "Don't worry, Mom. Ada is a responsible adult. She knows how to take care of herself. I'm sure she'll be home soon."
Gerda still seemed a little anxious and suggested that Atsuo visit Ada's workplace to check on her. Atsuo, in a commanding voice, said, "No, Mom. I don't want to disturb her at work. She's probably just busy. Let's not jump to conclusions."
After finishing his breakfast, Atsuo went to school while his mother remained worried about Ada's whereabouts. However, when Atsuo returned from school, he found his father at home, which was unusual as his father had come home early from the office and had a very worried face - something Atsuo had never seen before. Atsuo was just looking at the room when Gerda noticed him and stood up to address him. "Atsuo!", she said. Kenji, also looked at Atsuo. Gerda, worried about Ada, told Atsuo, "Please go to Ada's workplace." She has not returned yet, and neither mine nor Kenji's calls have reached her." "She has not returned yet?" asked Atsuo, who was now a little concerned. He then responded, "All right, I will check."
Atsuo arrived at Ada's workplace and proceeded to open the door. He seemed worried as he entered the room. Inside, Yua was leaning on the table, engrossed in a conversation with Aina while Tsumugi was busy drawing something. Kaito sat on the couch holding a cup of tea and staring down, but as soon as Atsuo opened the door in a hurry, all eyes turned to him.
With a concerned expression, he asked in a loud voice, "Is Ada here?" The suddenness of his question surprised Yua, Aina, and Tsumugi, and they all looked at him in bewilderment.
Yua replied, completely confused, "Ada? She did not come here today." Aina chimed in, "Yes! I tried to call her to ask what the reason was, but she isn't answering my call." Atsuo's eyes widened and sweat appeared on his forehead as he registered the news. Tsumugi, concerned, stood up and asked Atsuo, "What is the problem?" With a little sadness on his face and his eyes slightly looking down, Atsuo said "Ada isn't home either". Yua and Aina were shocked, and Yua exclaimed, "What?!?" Aina looked concerned, and Atsuo responded, "Yeah". She has not returned home either. Aina responded, "Ada and I were working late at night, but we both left the place together." When Atsuo heard this, he became more worried.
In a different area of the town, there was a man with blonde hair standing on a terrace that overlooked the city.
He was dressed in a black long-sleeve pullover top turtleneck t-shirt, black pants, and a black coat. One of his hands was tucked into his pocket, while the other rested on the railing. Suddenly, another man emerged from the darkness. He was wearing a long white coat, and glasses, and had black hair. As he approached the blonde man, he called out, "Hey, Adler." Adler turned to face him and smiled wisely. The man reached out to Adler, and Adler asked him, while still looking at the city and giving a wise smile, "Gunther...who's next?"
