After the meeting was concluded, King Marvin didn't retire to his chambers, and had instead proceeded to the consulting room—which was similar to the throne room—in a deliberate move, as the Queen Dowager had already sent a message across, seeking an audience with him.

William had followed closely after him, and when King Marvin had settled comfortably on the throne-like seat which was elevated on the dais, William got down on his knees, coughing to clear his throat as he prepared to speak.

"With all due respect, your majesty, why did you do that?" he asked, his voice laced with confusion. "I've told you that man isn't the Red Robe."
