Chapter 25 - chapter 25:“The takeover of Yilhak, Georang, and Cheonwoong (1)

Suho Kang's POV

After Xiuren started intimidating Ryu Taehyung, I turned my attention to the person who had been manipulating a good part of Seoul from the shadows.

"Got nothing else to say, Haesung Han?" I said while walking toward him.

At first, he adopted an extremely ugly expression before glancing at Lee Seungmin and regaining his confidence.

"You heard that, right?" he said, addressing Lee Seungmin with a cunning smile.

"Are you really going to let this kid swallow Seoul?" Despite his confident words, he backed away with each step I took toward him.

"Damn it!! Remember Yilhak's golden age!!" he shouted at Lee Meang, his voice betraying a hint of panic.

"I'm not doing this for you!!" replied Lee Meang in a frustrated tone, pulling out a phone from his white jacket.

It was clear he had made a call some time ago.

"I can smell blood here," resonated a slightly aged voice. "Yeah, reminds me of the good old days," declared a dark-skinned person while carefully observing the surroundings.

People emanating an intimidating aura emerged one after another in the restaurant's hall, which was quickly becoming too cramped to accommodate everyone.

"So, you're the famous Knives of Yilhak," I said, casually removing my jacket before handing it to a random server trying to remain discreet.

"We're still famous, guys," declared an individual with a scarred face.

"Seems so, indeed," replied a man with purple hair, nodding to approve his colleague's words.

"Young master, is he the target??" asked the one who appeared to be the group's leader.

"No, but he's an obstacle to accomplishing our agreement with Mr. Yang," declared Lee Meang while looking in my direction.

I quickly glanced toward Xiuren and the remaining Cheonung members.

Numerically, we're understaffed.

But is that really a problem?

Gun Park was able to dominate the Workers all by himself during the Big Deal hunting arc.

So!!!

"You need to beat at least this many idiots to qualify for the role of Seoul's king, right?" I involuntarily spoke my honest thoughts while undoing my tie and heading toward the imposing man with gray hair.

"King of Seoul?" He seemed confused by my words before adopting a savage smile. "Interesting kid, but..." He didn't have time to finish his words before launching an attack at me. I could see misfortune surrounding his fist, so I deflected and controlled his attack to send him to the ground using a judo technique.

*bam*

"But?? ... but what?? I didn't quite hear" I said expressionlessly while crushing my foot on his head, causing a crack in the restaurant's floor.

"Shit, he got Cheonho Choi!!!" declared a bald guy rushing toward me.

I dodged his strikes, surprisingly quick for his size, then grabbed his wrist to try controlling his flow and throw him using an aikido technique.

A third person kicked me from a blind spot. I barely managed to block this attack thanks to the purple smoke of misfortune emanating behind me.

"At this rate, I'll be here forever," I said, not really hiding my annoyance at their coordination.

I removed my belt.

*slap* After trying it in the air a few times, I nodded with satisfaction.

"Who do you think you are taking off your belt in front of your elders, kid?!" shouted a scarred man suddenly rushing toward me.

*slap* He received a belt strike to the eye before I leaped toward him and used one hand on his shoulder to crush my heel into his nose.

The impact was violent enough to send him joining his companion, merged with the floor.

Another tried to sneak behind me while I was crouched after my attack, but unfortunately for him, my eyes had seen the misfortune coming.

I immediately rolled to the side, dodging furniture thrown at my former position.

I immediately countered by striking my belt against the dark-skinned man's groin.

"Son of a...!" He didn't have time to finish his words as I jumped toward him and gave him a knee to the face.

*slap* I cracked my belt on the ground while observing the last three men in white suits still standing.

"Is this the level of the Knives of Yilhak?" I couldn't help but frown, struck by brutal disappointment.

I had considered using them or using Taesan to take control of Seoul, but I ultimately chose Cheonung because of the connections with Hansu Seong and the Darkness of China.

Now I understand that I was right.

"You bastard!!" The two launched themselves at me with greater frenzy than their fallen colleagues, but one belt strike each was enough to calm them down.

One must understand that intense pain can disturb the mind, even drive one mad. That's why the brain often prefers to render its host unconscious when faced with unbearable pain.

That's why, facing these mountains of muscle before me, I preferred using a belt to neutralize them rather than a knife.

It didn't take long to defeat the trio before me.

"Oh, you're already done," I said, looking at Xiuren.

She stands before Ryu Taehyung's fallen body.

"You say that, but you beat the Knives of Yilhak all by yourself," she said, observing me with complex eyes.

"Their reputation is exaggerated," I shrugged while walking toward Lee Meang, Yilhak's leader.

He first looks at us with fear before adopting a resigned air.

"Where's Haesung Han?" Although defeating the Yilhak and Georang organizations gives me control of two major organizations, I still have Haesung Han's HHS to deal with.

I haven't counted the Taesan organization yet, since Isu Baek isn't the real leader. I have to wait for his brother to wake up from his coma to perfectly assimilate this organization.

"... He fled," declares Lee Meang, clenching his fists in frustration.

"I see." I strike Lee Meang in the stomach to knock him out before grabbing him by his clothes and carrying him on my shoulder.

I also pick up Ryu Taehyung.

"We can head back," I said politely to Xiuren.

"The building is surrounded by Lee Meang's men and those of the other two," declares the man I entrusted my jacket to.

"And?" My dry tone summarizes my position on the matter.

"Xiuren, clear the way."

That night, Mr. Yang and the police had trouble providing a credible explanation to public opinion to justify the trail of blood in front of a renowned Chinese restaurant in the city center.

...

"Be honest... What do you plan to do with Mr. Wang?" asked Xiuren curiously.

We had tied up and thrown the two ex-leaders in the vehicle's trunk, and we were heading back to Cheonwoong.

"Sigh... I plan to try convincing him to follow me, and if that fails..." I didn't add anything more.

I don't yet have the ability to properly erase my traces after a murder, but I don't plan to leave someone like Wang Hao free.

I've already taken 50% of Cheonwoong thanks to Xiuren and Cha Yu-hwa.

So, all that's left is to beat him or convince him to follow me.

He's an individual who doesn't fully trust others.

"I see... If it's you, there's a chance the old man will agree to cut ties with the triad in China," declared Xiuren after reflection.

She wasn't wrong, I had already conquered 60 to 70% of Seoul in one night.

I've beaten the Yilhak organization, Georang, and I have 50% of Cheonwoong on my side, not to mention that Taesan has a temporary alliance with me.

In summary, I only have one real enemy in Seoul, which is Haesung Han's HHS.

"Given your appearance, you made quite a mess over there, didn't you?" These were Wang's first words as he observed the two bound individuals behind me.

I had separated from Xiuren on the way since she had to protect Cha Yu-hwa.

"Yes, and unfortunately, I think I'll do the same here," I immediately kicked Wang Hao.
