Chapter 127- Answers (4)
(UNKNOWN POV)
"That's it. Cry for me" The woman beneath me whimpered as I tightened my grip around her throat. Her eyes pleading for me to stop filled me with excitement. I caressed her hair, the reddish color reminded me of her. But this woman wasn't her. Snap! The sound of her neck breaking sent a chill down my spine.
Just as I got off of the bed, a knock on the door caught my attention. I wrapped my robe around my body and proceeded to walk towards the door.
"Your Highness", the guard bowed before me.
"if you are here, does that mean you found her" I asked, staring down at him.
He gulped, "No, Your Highness, we haven't found her"
I clenched my fist, it's been a few weeks since that woman who was carrying my child disappeared. I still haven't found any information on how she escaped. Was it Queen Malaysia? She claimed to have release Lord Sylvester when I confronted her. Plus I heard rumors that the Kalpana Kingdom was looking for someone that matched that woman's description. That son of a bitch Crown Prince Antonio hasn't responded yet about my suggestion to send a delegation to his kingdom.
"What about Morgan? Have you found out if he was the one who helped Princess Sage and her mother escape?" I questioned.
"No, Your Highness. You executed all of the guards that were left unconscious and there's no other witnesses"
Fuck, not only did I fail to taste Moises woman but she happens to be the daughter of that clan's Chief. The one the aristocratic faction fears the most.
"You're dismissed", I ordered, waving my hand.
"Marshall" I heard my uncle's voice and turned my head in his direction.
"Chancellor Radisson" I watched as he walked towards me. My uncle is the only one who ever supported me in this shitty palace besides my late mother.
As he approached me, he glanced inside of my room. I gulped as he stared at me with those light gold, just as intimidating as my father.
"Marshall, don't cause a scene at tomorrow's conference. We must settle the peace treaty with the Avaloria kingdom, in case the Kalpana Kingdom refuses to an alliance with us." he said, " Why does he want me to ally with other Kingdom's? " Does he think I'll be a weak King, "I thought as I clenched my fist again.
He placed his hand on my shoulder, "Marshall, you have always listened to my instructions." He tighten his gripped on my shoulder, causing pain to set in. He looked over at the guard, "Clean that up" he pointed inside of my room.
He tapped my shoulder as he started to walk away, and slightly looked back at me with a stern expression. "Don't cause a scene tomorrow. Her Majesty will be attending the conference."
(QUEEN MALAYSIA'S POV)
The sensation that traveled through my body was brief, as I looked down at the photobook I was holding. "Sage, Rosemary" I mumbled, caressing my fingers against their pictures.
"Father should be bringing them to the ancestral hall now that their seals has been broken"
I closed the photobook and placed it on the nightstand. Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door and watched as Hannah walked over towards it. When it opened, I noticed one of the royal guards standing there with his head bowed.
"Your Majesty, His Majesty requests your presence in the audience room," he said.
The audience room? I looked over at the time and noticed it was 10:30pm. Who was it that requested an audience this late?
"I'll be there shortly. Hannah help me get dress" I said.
"Yes, Your Majesty"
Twenty minutes later, Hannah and I walked through the palace until we reached the audience room. When I entered the room, I noticed multiple men filling up the room as they were bowing before Lincoln. I could feel and see the auras on some of them. They seemed familiar, I thought as I made my way up to the throne.
"Malaysia" The smile that formed acrossed Lincoln's face made me clench the side of my dress. It's been years since I've seen a genuine smile on Lincoln's face. I felt a thump in my heart as I sat down beside him.
"You may rise," Lincoln said, and all the men stood up at once.
"Wait, they're" I mumbled, feeling the wave of energy that filled the room.
I turned my head towards Lincoln, he had a proud expression on his face. He turned towards me, "Moises, Royal Knights have returned" he said.
(DUKE WINTER'S POV)
The moment I felt Sage's aura, I knew her and Rosemary's seal had been broken. When I first met them at the royal ball, I was surprised to learn that they had seals on them.
"Both of you, follow me to the ancestral hall" I said. I glanced back at Crown Prince Antonio and Yeshiva, as they carried Sage and Rosemary, their expressions filled with concern.
We walked towards the annex building near the castle. "Einar" Raman spoke and walked beside me.
"It's fine, they're unconscious for now" I said.
As we entered the annex building, "Follow me" I ordered as we walked towards the isolated stairs that descended into the floor.
"Yeshiva, you may feel a little nauseated, since you're an ordinary human" I said, turning towards him.
Yeshiva looked confused and only nodded in response.
I turned away and we descended down the stairs as a bright light welcomed us. A few minutes later, we traveled through the portal. As we entered the temple, I turned towards Yeshiva to make sure he was okay.
"This is a temple?" Yeshiva asked in awe, "Are we underground?" He glanced around.
"Not exactly, but we must hurry," I said, turning away.
As we approached the altar, I gestured to Prince Antonio and Yeshiva to lay Sage and Rosemary down onto it. After they placed them down, I kneeled before the altar. It was silent for a moment until the familiar divine presence surrounded me.
"Einar, it's been years since your last visit" the deep voice traveled through my mind.
"Yes, I've come to seek your guidance on my great-granddaughters. The seal you placed on them was broken the moment she harnessed her aura."
"I see, has it been 18 years already?" I placed those seals on them to keep them alive. They almost died during childbirth"
I clenched my fist, so that's why they had seals on them, their birthmarks were also their seal. Emotions began to stir inside of me. Thinking of the possibility that they could have died all those years ago.
I felt the warmth on my shoulder, "Now that their seals have been broken. You must train them well. The power within them is sacred. Don't let the past repeat itself"
