PROLOGUE

-Yuna

In my school, everything is just like any other highschool. Bullying is just around the corner, there are rich kids, popular kids and the list goes on. You know how some schools have different standards on how to become famous. If you're pretty, you're famous. If you're rich, you're famous. If you're smart, you're famous. If you're talented as heck, you're famous.

Well, I am the whole package, I am famous for all of those because all of those started with me, the school is my kingdom and I, I am royalty. But of course, I don't go around and say, "Oh, I am famous and pretty, no one could beat me", I am humble, I have a big pride and ego and I want it to stay that way, I don't wanna be one of those blondies over there, boasting all the way and no one wants a school model like that, right? Which is why I am the school's face and model.

Let's talk about me, my name is El Yunaleste Phoenix, i am 18 y.o, Filipino-American, I am a senior highschool student. Since Elementary, I've always been the top student and I aspire to maintain my rank, rank 1. Even then when I was very young, our neighboors, my teachers and my peers have always admired how uniquely pretty I was. My hair is long, midnight black as color and they are effortlessly wavy. My eyes are dark brown, almost black, I have sharp, siren eyes that most women want. Prominent cheekbones, plump and kissable, pinkish lips that is shaped like a bow. I am a little chubby but I have curves, my body shape is Pear and my skin is not too pale and not too tan. I am talented too, in so many ways. I can play several musical instruments, I can make any kinds of art, I can sing, dance and so on and so far. Due to my popularity, other girls would try to humiliate me and drag me down, little do they know, I don't give two shits, I don't care, i manage everything elegantly, beautifully. Because of that, they get even more triggered and that's what satisfies me the most. And also, because I am smart, people would sabotage my tests but I would always catch them while doing it and they'd often get expelled for it.

I am popular alright, but there are more people who hated me for it rather than praise me for it, however, I really don't care for I have everything they can never have, or let's say they do but they could never have everything, there would always be something lacking from their puzzle. Getting bullied for being the standard just shows how I win every single time, they could never bully me physically for they know how I could easilly get them expelled. After all that, at the end of the day, I win, besides, there is no point in bullying me. Would that make them prettier than me? Smarter? Well, of course not, no offense.

I have something. A secret that i never told anyone, a secret that would cause a huge turbulence in our life. I am really rich. Until now, no one knows. I own a famous library with cafè. But the major reason why I am rich is because of my parents. My dad works as a secret agent like a spy who gets paid way more than a seaman. My mom is a very famous CEO of a clothing line company, she is a very popular designer but not one in public has ever seen her face. We are a family that lives life in secrecy and I love my life, popular but not bothered by the bothersome media and not physically bothered by people, so going out on public is a breeze.

I have friends, but my very bestfriends are... Vivienne Heldi De Carlos, Jessy Rio Michel, and Alexandrian Willis. Starting off with Vivienne.

Vivienne is a full-blood Filipino, she is bisexual but mostly into girls but her appearance says otherwise. Her sense of style is Feminine so it is hard to tell if she is bisexual or not. Among all of us four, she is the most athletic and the sassiest. One thing that bugs us is that her parents are kind of homophobic so she is really having a hard time opening up to her parents. On the side note, her parents are successful engineers which means they are rich. Vivienne is also very smart, she is rank 2, next to me and she has no problem with that since she is always rank 1 in Taekwondo, Volleyball and Chess. Next is Jessy.

Jessy is the girliest girl you'll ever meet. She's the blondiest blonde in our circle of friends. She's childish and dramatic sometimes but that is what she is and we love her for that. Her mom owns an Airline company. Her mom is the only one taking care of Jessy, because her Dad died when he was in the military. Her mom is kinda toxic, strict and very judgmental, when Jessy gained a little weight, she forbid her from eating carbs and sweets and forced her to go fasting for one day. Last on my list is Alexandrian.

Alex is African-American and a he, he is gay and we don't mind. We treat him like a sister since it costs nothing to accept who he really is. Unlike Vivienne's parents, Alex's parents are supportive and so is his little brother. Alex's dad works at the Airline company of Jessy's mom and because of that, they became bestfriends. Alex's mom is a chef in Dubai, they barely spend time together but of course, they love each other. They are the only ones who know about our secret and just them only. They are the best people that I have ever encountered, the best friends that I could ever ask for, I love them.

My love life? Nah, romance is always the last thing on my mind. I always have my eye on the money and on academic validation, mwa. I sound like a brat with my introduction, I swear I'm not.
