"Kain?" Free asks while looking out the window, thinking. Don has once again driven his car to sight. Nothing new. The cop was clearly planning to stay in place as usually.
"Yeah?" Kain answers and opens his eyes. He was laying on the couch, trying to nap.
"You have anything tomorrow?"
"I was planning to hang out with the Mayor and then go dance with some models on central park, but.. If you have something better then no, not really.. Why?"
"I could use your help. For a little show up," Free moves his eyes on Kain with smirking face.
Kain sighs and sits up. Then thinks a little before moving his eyes back to Free "What will you do if he won't take the bait?" he already has a very clear vision what Free might be up to. This was about Frees plan B he had talk about the day before.
"That's a new problem then. Are you questioning my methods?"
"Methods my ass," Kain laughs. Free smiles back and starts heading toward the front doors, steps out of the house. There was a little raining on the air, but that didn't stop Free from going to act around this cop who liked to play in front of their House. Like routinely now a days, Free went there, chitty chat with the cop about this and that. And like always, told him not bring bad luck on their neighborhood.

The next day, after undergoing the whole plan with Free, Kain puts a red cap on him, wears this black light hoodie with a big white logo printed on it.
"Don't let him see your face," Free says and sighs, getting himself ready. Kain shows his phone and press's the recording button. " 'Didn't I tell you not to do that!' " Free speaks with a strong and loud voice. They listen the recording once. "That will do. Think what volume you will use."
"Got it," Kain nods.
"If I missed even one camera they left I'm screwed," Free smiles, thinking, for the first time actually showing a hint of his own insecurity in front of his brothers. "What ever happenes after, non of you know anything. Is that clear?"
"They are cops. Are we really skilled enough to go against them?" Kain wonders out laud. Like pointing there was still time to back up. They were about to do a break in in the middle of the day. This was against all their rules.
"Call me when he gets here," Free just skips Kains question and jumps out the window.
Kain sighs. "I guess it's show time then..."

The car came right in time.
"Okay kids. Let's do our share and help out," Kain states and turns his look to Tim who was excitedly already waiting at the door. "Tim, you know what to do. Go."
Tim runs out and takes his spot on the terrace, playing a while on his own. 'Do as you wish' was the order, so he kept from where he have left earlier. Then he slowly starts to pay attention to the car, moving his plays on the street. Finally he dares to run behind it, putting this small item under the car as Free has asked him to do, peeking out like playing bravely around.
Of course, Don was just calmly eyeing kids actions from the mirrors. Thinking this indeed was quite odd. But just possible act from children.
Now it was Dinos time to shine. Other kid comes from the back of the Main House and 'notices' Tim. Acting super worried he waves to him. "Tim! What are you doing!" Dino tsihs, trying to be quiet, but he still yelled. "Free told you not to go near that car!"
"I just want to see him," Tim talks quietly back. Playing his part nicely. "Bet he is a scarfed cop!"
"Come! Free is making dinner. If he sees us from the kitchen window we are doomed!"
Boys run back. Laughing. Don could hear them perfectly. That was the plan. Man was just calmly eyeing them running. "So it's 'Free'?" he shows a smile, actually talking out loud. Finally he could hear the name the kid's been called nowadays. "What an appropriate name to have."
'Free' opens the door and whistles, calling the boys to come.
"Free! He went near the car!" Dino yells. Making sure cop would definitely turn his attention toward them.
"Didn't I tell you not to do that!" 'Free' says and the boys get back in.
After the door was closed, Kain lets out a sigh, high-fiving with the two younger kids. "Good job. That's that then," he smiles, taking away the red cap from his head. "I hope those two will do all right.."

At the same time Free was standing behind the jewel store.
"Estás seguro de esto?" Leon asks in Spanish, were they really going to do this, being extremely nervous.
"We are stealing them. Not selling them. So no one can track us after," Free talks back in Spanish while playing with his smart phone. He was checking the cameras around.
"You are really putting my head on the plank just to amuse yourself, ha?" Leon tsihs in English. Then turns in Spanish. "Stealing money is nothing but THIS? In bright daylight!?"
"Head on the plank is not even a saying..," younger calmly adds, ignoring him.
"Well it should be.."
"You are sutch a scaredy-cat," Free sighs. "Don't worry. Just do as you always do; trust me and be quiet. I just set two alarms on near by as distractions. So we have to act quickly after getting in. You ready?" Without waiting an answer he did his magic and gets ready.
"Tres dos uno...," lights went off. "Lets go!"

While Don was eyeing some files, his phone suddenly starts vibrating inside his pocket, letting him know someone was calling.
"The Ghosts strike again!!" Marks voice speaks.
"What?"
"There were three alarm calls at the exact same time. Two fake ones. A small amount of jewels were taken," man lists, trying to hold his excitement.
"And that sounds good to you..?" Don sighs. His co-worker sound way too joyful.
"They clearly have someone from the Guard Building in. The cameras were shut down. It's not just a normal group. They look professional to me."
Suddenly someone knocks to the window, making Don turn his focus on the young man who has appeared outside of his car. Free was waving to him, smoking. Man opens the window, not dropping his glance.
"But we got a video from one of them! Have the shot for you. It's not very good quality, but looks like it could be your boy."
"Oh, sorry," young man says quietly and waves his hand as an apology. He had no idea Don was talking to the phone, when man was holding it with his left hand.
"Send it to me," Don sighs out. "When the strike happened?" Eyeing carefully the young man here, Don wasn't even trying to hide his words while talking to the phone. But kids reaction didn't change a bit. His looks remain calm.
"About half an hour ago. If the kid wasn't there it's definitely him. We can call him in."
Picture sended. Don moves the phone from his ear and opens the file. It was clearly the same young man than next to him. Sigh. But different outfit. Can't see the face. Free was now wearing the same black hoodie as before when Don 'saw' him. The red cap on his head backwards.
"What you think? Is it him?"
"Stay put until I call back," Don ends the call and looks back to Free.
"I plan to come here and tell you to fuck off again but you look so mad right now I think I dare not to..," Free smiles, but still didn't show any gesture to move anywhere from the window. Being very very amused at the moment, but tried not to show it out. "You sure you don't need to get laid?"
Don moves his phone closer and shows the captured photo to Free. Young man stares the phone screen and tsihs. "What is that?"
"It's you. Took half an hour ago."
"Well, that doesn't look like our kitchen..," Free snorts, annoyed. "So I'm telling you. You have the wrong guy. Am I your suspect just because of my haircolor? That's lame.."
"Am I your alibi?" Don laughs a little. If his theory was indeed correct, kid has played his part nicely. Using the fact there were cameras and an actual detective to witness 'he' was in during the rob, kid has cleaned himself out. This was a dead end.
"Why would I need an alibi? I actually came to apologize for Tims behavior," younger keeps, taking one more breathe from his cigarette before dropping it down. "They said they went near your car. I've told 'em not to approach you if it's not anything crucial."
"You were able to come here fast. Now that is a talent," Don then points out smiling. "I could use someone like you if you were not a wild one."
"I'll give up," Free sighs. "When you have something you know where to find me. Geez." Young man takes his leave.
After the kid was gone, Don makes a call back. "Bad news, Mark. He was here at the time they strike. I could see him with my own eyes. At least someone that was exactly like him, dressed exactly like him. The front camera will show 'him' too, standing on the doorway."
Unbelieving what he just heard, Mark curses. "You sure?!"
"I can't prove it was not him. Didn't talk to him personally. But cameras don't lie in evidence list. Either someone made a dress party or he actually was in the whole time. That is how it is now. Until we have something better."
"Shit," Mark keeps and sighs out deeply. "If we are chasing real ghosts it's no use to stay there. You can't see them. Without facts we can do nothing."
"We can go in and see what they have there?"
"With what excuse?"
"We want to talk to the landlord because some of her kids are suspected from robbery?" Don makes one. "The place is owned by a real person. Might really be this 'mother'. But where is she?"
"Have we ever seen her?"
"I haven't."
"...," Mark stays quiet a while. Then Don could hear a long sigh. "What if the woman actually is in? I doubt your kid will let us in, forcing our way in without a permission is a law sue. And you have to face the kid with your accusations. To do that we should have real proofs first."
"I already told him quite straightly I suspect him. Didn't even blink," Don just admits.
"Wait what? You admit you are there to watch them?"
"I had the feeling he already knew why I'm here. And since he hasn't kept his distance from me, I would say he is playing safely. Making sure I would buy his act."
"That's a nice theory you have. But doesn't help us get the permission to actually walk in."
"Then you want me to back off for now?" Don says while turning his eyes looking the hostel building across the street. "It's your case, not mine. I'm here only because of the opportunity. Doesn't matter where I get paid when it's quiet in my field. Besides this has been fun so far." Mark could hear him smiling.
"You having fun doesn't help me at all," Mark laughs back, ending his it with a sigh. "There is nothing in the cameras behind the house either," he confirms then while clearing the camera views on his computer. "If they can freeze or change our camera views without a provable contact it's a dead end from our perspective. Of course we will double check them now but.. For now they are clear.
We have people investigating in CGB. There has to be a leak somewhere. But until they can figure it out, we can't do but wait."
"Good. So I can do what ever I like."
