Malakai pondered what the Wolfman had said. 'Is he from a rival clan or something?' he wondered.
Thalira nodded as if reading his thoughts. "He is. From the Shadow Claw Clan. They are wolves of the Shadow element."
The mention of the Shadow element triggered a memory for Malakai, he recalled the bandits he and his family fought when they were making their way to the grand city the Grand City.
The same bandits where they had found Vesper.
There had been a Wolfman who wielded Shadow powers, but Malakai wasn't convinced that every wolf with a Shadow element belonged to that clan.
'I have a Shadow element too... kind of,' he thought, though uncertainty lingered. He wasn't entirely sure about the extent of his own abilities.
He turned to Thalira, curiosity piqued. "About what he said... the Rising Moon Clan sharing territory with an enemy, what's that about?"
