At school, Tommy sat nervously at his desk, anxiously waiting for the teacher to pass back their graded assignments. He fidgeted with his pen, his eyes fixed on the door the whole time.
It had been a whole four days since Benjamin dropped him off that evening. Though they met at school, they rarely interacted, and Benjamin didn't even glance his way, as if he never existed.
God forbid, Tommy thought, he'd be the first to initiate a conversation. He rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath, "I'd rather dance naked in front of the first person I see than throw myself at him first!"
Tommy's gaze wandered around the classroom, just looking around leisurely which earned him disapproving glares from his classmates.
Facing the door again, his brain wandered back to Benjamin! Recently, he noticed the seniors were struggling, and as a result, he barely saw Benjamin around, even when he scanned the school stylishly for him with his eyes.
