Chapter 5 It's A Wolf!

For over two hours, Ryan only managed to practice driving three or four times, each session lasting no more than 5 minutes.

As they were about to leave after class, the instructor stopped them and said, "You don't need to come in these next two days. I've already registered you for the second test. Let's meet at the driving school gate at 7 am on the 15th."

"Thank you, coach," Ryan acknowledged.

Passing the second test of the driver's license was a tough task. Once through this hurdle, subjects 3 and 4 would become much easier.

Ryan calculated that at this rate, he should have his driver's license before August 10th.

With the driver's license almost in hand, only a sports car was missing.

Thinking about the exorbitant price of a sports car, Ryan couldn't help but sigh, "Ah, a Ferrari still seems so far away..."

Beside him, Will Zane asked curiously, "Ferrari? Ryan, are you playing Need for Speed or something?"

Damn, is it necessary to mention Need for Speed?

Ryan was speechless. Emma and Lily Smith walked towards them.

Emma had an urge to grind her teeth as soon as she saw him.

"Hey, how are you two beauties?" Ryan greeted them with a smile.

On the other hand, Will Zane looked gloomy and a little embarrassed.

He was the type who could say anything in private but felt awkward in front of beautiful women—in short, he was sullen.

Emma rolled her eyes at him, but Lily Smith said familiarly, "Ryan, we're taking the second test on the 15th. What about you?"

Ryan nodded, "We're also scheduled for the 15th. Are you confident you'll pass?"

Upon hearing this, Lily Smith's expression froze, and she said with a wry face, "I'm not confident at all. The test is in three days, and I still haven't mastered reversing the car properly. I keep crossing the line."

"And what about Emma?" Ryan looked over at Yan Xiaoman.

"I often struggle to find parking spots," emma replied helplessly. Learning to drive was proving much more difficult than she had anticipated.

Ryan wasn't surprised by this outcome. Female drivers, you couldn't expect too much from them!

"Ryan, do you have any tips to share?" Lily Smith blinked.

Honestly, Lily Smith was quite attractive, at least an 80 out of 100.

But everything is relative. Standing next to Emma, Lily Smith would naturally be overlooked.

Emma glanced at Lily Smith strangely. She knew her best friend's character very well.

She felt that Lily Smith seemed a bit off and not quite herself at the moment.

Ryan shook his head and smiled, "Driving is all about practice. The more you drive, the more proficient you'll become. Experience is something that can't be taught."

Lily Smith nodded and continued, "By the way, I heard that Jack is planning a class reunion for our grade and is thinking of going rafting. Will you be going?"

"Why would I go? Jack isn't fooling anyone. His intentions are crystal clear, so we won't stir up any trouble." Ryan looked at Emma and teased.

The fact that Jack had a crush on Emma had spread throughout their senior year, so his sudden interest in organizing some kind of gathering left no one in doubt as to his intentions.

Upon hearing this, Lily Smith and Will Zane couldn't help but turn their gaze to Emma.

Brushing her hair aside, Emma shook her head and said, "I'm not going either. Once I get my driver's license, I plan to chill."

Well, it seemed Jack was wasting his time.

Glancing at the time, Ryan hopped on his electric scooter and said with a smile, "It's getting late. See you later, ladies."

...

On their way back, each of them rode their own small electric scooters.

Will Zane remained silent for a while, then suddenly asked, "Ryan, can I ask you something?"

"What's up?" Ryan glanced at him and replied.

"How do I talk to a goddess so it feels natural? Every time I run into Emma Turner, I don't know what to say."

Will Zane was filled with anticipation. He had just seen Ryan chatting and laughing with emma, and he couldn't help feeling envious.

Ryan looked at him in surprise, thinking okay, this buddy was finally catching on.

Thinking this, he said seriously, "Talking to a goddess is actually simple.

First and foremost, you need to adjust your mindset.

Understand that a goddess is also a human being.

Regardless of appearances, they're just regular girls.

The simplest example, how you normally talk to guys is how you should talk to goddesses."

"Thanks, Ryan!" Will Zane nodded thoughtfully.

...

Later that night.

In his room, Ryan was maneuvering Yasuo in a team battle.

Hassa!

Face the wind!

Solie yagaidou!

After an intense gaming session, his phone suddenly rang on the table.

Glancing at it, Ryan saw that it was Will Zane calling.

"What's up?" Ryan asked straight to the point.

"Ryan, I got dumped!"

On the other end of the line, Will Zane's voice was low and despondent.

Damn, dumped? Was he even in a relationship?

Ryan's face was filled with black lines. He resisted the urge to complain and asked, "What happened?"

"After I got home, I tried chatting with pattie using your method, but she blocked me."

Ryan was taken aback for a moment and asked curiously, "What did you say?"

"I said, 'Hey, wanna go to an internet café and play games tonight?' Then she blocked me!" Will Zane said in a grievous tone.

"Hiss!"

Ryan couldn't help but gasp.

This guy was a wolf!

After pondering for a moment, Ryan suddenly felt that being a dog licker didn't seem so bad with his level of emotional intelligence.

Of course, he still needed to offer some comfort, so he earnestly said, "I told you that pattie isn't right for you. Do you believe me now?"

Will Zane sighed and changed the subject, "Ryan, I'm feeling down. Come out and hang with me. I've been grinding wild spiders lately, so let's hit gold tonight."

Ryan: "..."
