"It's a villain!" a civilian screamed as panic spread through the crowd. A massive figure was rampaging through the streets, creating chaos and destruction. Amidst the turmoil, a hero was seen swinging through the air, using his powers to navigate the urban landscape.
"That guy is Kamui Woods," another civilian remarked. "He's the new hero that's been popping up lately. His quirk lets him grow wood from his body. It's amazing!"
Kamui Woods leaped from building to building, his wooden tendrils extending from his arms to ensnare the giant villain. "Stop your unlawful behavior! Bank robbery and illegal quirk use will not be tolerated!" he shouted, his voice firm and authoritative.
"Look, he's gonna use his ultimate attack!" someone in the crowd screamed as Kamui Woods prepared to unleash his final move. Just as he was about to finish off the villain, a giant leg came crashing down with a powerful dropkick, landing squarely on the villain's cheek and taking him down in one swift move.
Kamui Woods was stunned for a moment, looking up to see who had intervened. "Wait, she stole the credit!" someone in the crowd exclaimed.
The onlookers were in awe. "Wow, they're incredible! They are truly heroes," they murmured among themselves. The new hero who had intervened was none other than Mount Lady, her towering figure now standing proudly in the streets.
"Izuku, did you see that?" Junpei nudged his friend, eyes wide with excitement.
"Yes, they are both incredible. They were both in UA until recently. Maybe we should get an autograph," Izuku suggested, his admiration for the heroes evident.
Junpei shook his head. "No, that's not what I was talking about. Don't you think Mount Lady is a bit of a... whore?"
"What?!" Izuku screamed, taken aback. "Why would you say something like that about a hero?"
Izuku started muttering to himself, trying to process Junpei's comment. "Well, do you see what she's doing?" Junpei pointed out. Mount Lady was striking a pose for the cameras, basking in the attention and adoration of the crowd.
Izuku's face turned red as he realized what Junpei was getting at. "Well—Mount Lady was in a pose that's Shod off Her figure in front of the cameras. But this isn't the first time she's done something like this. If she can do something like this in public, who knows what she might do alone with someone influential in the media," Junpei said, his tone critical.
The two of them started walking away from the scene, the sounds of the city gradually fading into the background. "Junpei, you can't just say that. She might have a reason for doing stuff like that."
Junpei sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Yes, she does. She's a greedy woman. Remember those heroes I talked about when we were kids? The ones who only care about fame and the ones who genuinely want to help people? From the looks of it, she only cares about fame.
"Izuku frowned, deep in thought. "Well, in reality, she's actually a mix of both, but for the sake of what I'm about to tell you, this is necessary
"Why did you suddenly bring up this topic?" Izuku asked, puzzled.
"The UA exams are coming up soon, but I wanted you to know this: even if you fail, you're better than heroes like Mount Lady."
Izuku was stunned. Even though this wasn't the first time he had heard his friend say something like this, the impact was still strong. But at least this time, he didn't cry.
When I noticed Izuku wiping his eyes, I became a bit worried. We were heading to the place where he would meet All Might for the first time, but things would be different now. There was no guarantee that Izuku would receive One for All. That's why I had this conversation with him—to lessen his sadness if he fails the UA exams.
Walking under the bridge, I heard the sound of something crawling through the sewers. When Izuku and I turned around, we saw a sludge monster in front of us.
"Well, it looks like I found a good vessel," it sneered as it lunged at us. However, it suddenly stopped mid-air, glowing purple. I had halted it with my telekinesis.
"Izuku, do you mind looking in the trash bin for some bottles?" I asked. A few seconds later, we heard another sound coming from the sewer.
"Don't fear, I am here!" All Might suddenly popped up. When he looked in front of him, he found two teenagers holding bottles with the sludge villain captured inside.
"Oh, it looks like the villain has been captured," All Might said.
"Oh my God, it's All Might!" Izuku started freaking out, his all-time favorite hero standing right in front of him. He was so stunned he couldn't even move. I slapped him gently on the back.
"Izuku, go talk to him," I urged.
"Alright, Mr. Might, can you please sign my notebook?" Izuku stammered.
"Alright then, young man," All Might said, grabbing the notebook. As he looked at it, he read the title: "Hero Analysis for the Future."
"An analysis book, interesting," he commented. Izuku rubbed the back of his head and started saying the same things he did in the original story, except for the part where he asked if he could become a hero.
All Might read through the notebook, noting how detailed the descriptions of the heroes were. He was extremely impressed and a little bit scared of what would happen if this notebook fell into the wrong hands.
"This is the 13th book," All Might said, hearing what the young boy mentioned. He was impressed. "Could this kid really be the one?" All Might shook his head. "No, I can't make a rush decision like this. I barely know this kid."
Looking at the expression that All Might made, I smiled, knowing that All Might was impressed by Izuku.
"Well, kids, I'm gonna head out now," All Might said, preparing to leap away. Just as he was about to jump, I used my telekinesis to loosen the bottle. All Might, too distracted by his own thoughts, didn't notice and leaked away.
"All Might was amazing," Izuku admired, his eyes still sparkling with awe.
"Come on, we need to go. We can't stay here all day," I urged. As we started walking, Izuku's excitement was palpable.
"Weren't you excited? We just met All Might, the greatest hero of all time!"
"Alright, I know you're a huge All Might fanboy, but him being the greatest is debatable. The greatest mean's he is the absolute strongest," I stated.
Izuku was absolutely shocked. "That's impossible. All Might is the strongest! Name one hero that can defeat him."
"Star and Stripe, the number one American hero," I replied without hesitation. "I mean, she is strong, but no one knows the true nature of her quirk."
"Well, I actually have a hunch," I said confidently. "And if it's correct, then All Might has no chance."
Izuku knew that when I spoke with such confidence, it meant I was absolutely sure about my theory. He started to think of something to counter my argument.
"Well, All Might in the anime is carried by the plot. There are plenty of characters who could defeat him, like I said earlier. Star and Stripe and Eri have quirks that are too overpowered. They would absolutely destroy him. Not to mention other characters like Shigaraki. And I'm not talking about the one at the end of the story; I mean the one in the middle, who just reawakened his quirk, maybe even before that. There are plenty of others."
I continued, "And to push it further, if you pair two characters, they could also defeat him. Like Twice and Stain."
Izuku and I kept debating the topic passionately until we heard a loud commotion. We turned to see what was happening and saw a villain attack. It wasn't just any villain attack—it was the sludge villain, and it had Bakugo in its clutches.
