Lesley threw the clustered noodle blocks into the nearly heating water from the pot pan, cutting some vegetables while deep in contemplation as he studied Brandon's memories.
With merely a gesture indicating the location of the blood's origin and return, he had devised an incredibly basic method of accessing Brandon's memories.
He was occupied with preparing meals while searching through Brandon's memory to gather all of the information Brandon had about his surroundings. Thus, magic does exist in this world, but Lesley had already determined whether or not he possessed it. He was able to understand the fundamentals of why Brandon was unable to utilize magic at the drop of a hat after analyzing his recollections.
Because there are numerous races in this planet, they all have unique ways of using magic and the energy within. As an illustration:
Mana, the energy used by elves to interact with and change natural concepts, is what they use.
Trim, a destructive type of mana, is used by goblins to damage and transit through nature.
Blood energy, which is primarily associated with changes to the body, mind, and soul, is used by vampires.
Humans rely on Aura, which is a spiritual idea of body changes, to increase their physical, mental, and skill levels.
Cyclops are a race of inventors and engineers who use the powerful energy within to better their products, such as firearms and vehicles. Chaos is the energy, and it is connected to the user's creativity and what they can produce.
Ogres are a race that rules by force and battle; their bodies contain the energy associated with emotions. Crazy as hell, berserker.
There are several species of weres, including wolves, cats, rodents, and reptiles. Because of the Meta in their body, they may change their size, strength, and speed depending on the species.
Finally, the Wraith race is the most mysterious race, with a penchant for stealth, float, and spirit bodies. Because they use Silk, an energy used to weave spells and create new magical abilities, they are incredibly creative and crafty.
Half-breeds, on the other hand, are drawn to two techniques and energies as a result of their parents and races. Sadly, the mark prevents them from using such methods and energy.
The mark is an anti-magic curse utilized by the government and is imprinted on the body of every Half-breed. It takes the shape of a surging tattoo on the back of the Half-breed and serves as a medium for keeping the curse active.
After some time, Lesley turned off the heat and proceeded to pour the ramen, crack one of the green eggs, and allow the York to mix with the noodles. He walked to the cabinet, pulled out a jar containing a black powder that had sparkling qualities, added part of the powder to the freshwater, and brought it to a boil while turning on the stove.
After taking the ramen, he went to Brandon's father's room and knelt, saying:
"I got you some Ramen and the egg will act as the protein Oh," he added, rummaging into the plastic and pulling out a takeaway with a lovely odor. He presented his father with the food after opening the takeout holder.
He grinned and continued,
"Eat these vegetables first before the ramen okay?"
With a meek smile, Brandon's dad said:
"Thanks, I shall eat"
Brandon's father took the vegetables and ate them with joy as Lesley exited the room and went to the boiling black medicine, pouring it into a cup as he turned off the fire. He walked into the room and noticed the takeaway holder empty, just as he witnessed his father eating the ramen with the same feeling.
Lesley grinned as he reached for the scar on the back of his head, recalling yet another incident that demonstrated Brandon's father's voracious desire for food, whether it was his own or Brandon's.
It appears like Brandon has never stopped preparing food for the Man, and the mother is nowhere to be found.
'What happened to her, I wonder, I'll investigate later, but for now, the old man comes first,' he mentally determined as he discovered Brandon's father's name is Richard Tate Wilson. He ate in solitude, and after he was finished, he inquired:
"Bran, when are you going back to school?"
Hearing this, Lesley motioned to his head, and another flash of recollection arrived and responded:
"Very soon, very soon. Don't worry, Ashely will come to take care of everything while I'm away.
With a smile, Ricardo said:
"All right, just don't neglect anything that needs to be done because of my health. I cannot depart from this life with unfulfilled regrets."
Lesley said, nodding:
"All right, so now for the medicine." He said, pulling out the medication and giving it to his father. The black powder was a potion that worked as an agent for intoxicating harmful substances that could harm the body. The potion, when combined with doctor's medicine, is used to remove a curse from a person's body.
Ricardo combined the tablets and powders before gulping the dark concoction with a harsh breath; it must taste dreadful, I suppose.
Lesley then bid Brandon's father farewell, moved on to the next room, and opened the door while surveying Brandon's quarters. It was a tiny room with a medium-sized wooden bed, similar to a simple bunk bed, a desk with a laptop and lamp for night reading and studying, two dumbbells, an umbrella stand, and a closet with a full-length mirror.
Lesley felt dejected by the room's feeling of loneliness, so he leaped onto the bed and looked up at the room's bright light. He said with a whispering voice:
"Looks like I took over your life, Bran, heh. But don't worry, I'll give us both a happy ending we can be proud of; first, I have to catch the bastards who did this, and if they don't show up, I'll just let it go for my sake, and yours."
