John woke up in an unfamiliar land. He noticed the beautiful land in front of him. he was on top of a small hill, and as he began to stand up he saw many things. 

He mumbled to himself that it was full of life like animals, flowers, trees, etc..

"Where am I? What is this place?"

He was lost, the last thing he remembered was meeting his fate against the police.

Those bastards dare stop him from getting his revenge.

Against those who dare to disrespect the things he cherished the most.

But he did make a name for himself so he was at least satisfied.

But in the end, he was eventually put to a stop. And so he began wandering the land.

After some time, he managed to arrive on the outskirts of a nearby town.

As he entered the town it was very peaceful and calm. It was beautiful here he liked it so he approached one of the people here running a small stall selling vegetables.

"excuse me do you know where are we right now?"

Surprisingly they speak English.

"What do you mean by that stranger?'

"like what place this is as I'm new here"

"oh if that's the case welcome to the humble town of Azealia"

"Thanks"

"no problem"

After knowing where he was, he began to think about how to get food and shelter. He was wandering around the town looking for a job he could do, for the time being.

He stumbled upon a post on one of the walls of a nearby building the poster contents where it says.

{Help wanted Humble Heart restaurant}

"huh it says here that they are currently lacking staff members I should try and apply maybe I can earn a little cash to buy some food for today"

John decided to head to this restaurant to apply for the job. After some time he managed to find the building and enter.

The place wasn't that fancy but it did have some customers in it and from the looks of it. He only saw 3 staff members in the building and approached one of the waitresses. 

"excuse me ma'am are you still hiring?"

"oh why yes come follow me"

 The two of them head to the manager's office to talk, when they arrive the managers the manager begins the conversation by asking John by his name.

"first of all, I would like to know your name, young man"

"John sir John Miller"

"then might as well introduce myself I'm Fredrick Almer owner and manager of this simple restaurant"

Fredrick grabs a piece of paper and begins to write the list.

"all right then John I will give you a list of things you need to do alongside your schedule"

Fredrick hands out the list to John. 

"wait that's it? No formalities and whatnot?"

"no need as we lack workers and staff to manage the restaurant"

"oh alright thank you"

"Uh, sir may I ask a question?"

"And what may that be?"

"I might not have a place to stay as I'm quite new here and don't have anywhere else to go..."

"Oh that won't be a problem the restaurant has a spare room you can use for the time being and it will also allow you to be here early enough to start doing the things I wanted you to do" 

John bows to Fredrick showing his gratitude for his generosity.

"Thank you, sir!"

"Your welcome now go do the things you gotta do for today"

"Yes sir"

As John walked out of the room he started looking at the list that Fedrick had given him. It was not that many and he could easily do them.

Many days have passed since his first arrival here in Azealia. While life was great, he managed to save up some silver for himself to sustain himself for a few months.

While his life had been slightly boring he did make a few friends with the locals some noteworthy ones were the adventurers who would always go to the restaurant after a successful quest/ mission.

They were usually really open and easygoing, they seemed to be happy, drinking, eating, and generally having a good time.

 There were days were it was very very dull and no customers so John would wander the town. On one particular night as he couldn't sleep John decided to take a walk for the time being.

Sometime later he came across a bar,

As John had brought some money, he decided to go in and have a few drinks.

When John entered the bar, he noticed it was empty so he went ahead and sat near the bartender and ordered a drink.

The bartender started a conversation while John was enjoying his drink since it was just the two of them.

"so what brings you to this place at this hour?"

"I was just taking a walk since I couldn't fall asleep"

"is that so?"

(this might have info on what kind of world I'm in) 

John thought to himself.

"Just curious, may I but what are those adventurers"

"What do you mean?"

"You know the ones that summon or shoot elements like fire and water"

"Like what did they do to achieve it?"

"Oh, you're talking about mages. Well, every person born in the world."

"Are born with this energy from which people call mana, mana in which has the

ability to control certain types of energy."

The bartender began to explain what those certain types of energy are.

"There are 3 types of mana. Holy mana, corrupted mana, and plain mana"

"plain mana is something that adventurers use it can control all 4 elements.

air, water, fire, and earth."

"What makes holy mana different is that it is often used by priests or priestesses

it is mainly for healing and strengthening their comrades"

"And corrupted mana which is the opposite of holy mana. as it has the abilities 

connecting or originating from those of demons from the demon king" 

"You seem to be quite knowledgeable for a bartender."

"Well, I do have some experience myself."

The Bartender said proudly.

"Why so?"

"Well, I was a student at a prestigious academy when I was young"

The bartender continued

"They taught us about magic, types of mana, etc"

(Interesting...) John thought to himself.

"Hm since we are on the topic of types of mana can you tell me yours 

if you don't mind?"

John didn't know his type of mana as heck doesn't even know if he had mana 

in the first place so John replied"

"Well as of now I don't know as I'm quite new here and not familiar with it."

"Is that so?" the bartender replied.

"Why don't you head on to the guild you can register there and they can evaluate

your type of mana. you can also earn some silver if you complete some quests given by the guild."

John was thinking to himself for some time. And made a decision but first decided to ask where this guild is located.

"Can I ask where it is located?"

"Well, it is located on the east side of the capital of the kingdom of Ayliah may take 

you have some time to get there tho since this is pretty far from here."

"Well thanks, I have to go now I will probably come here before I depart tomorrow."

"You're going there tomorrow?"

"Yeah since if what you said is true then I'll try to earn some money before I come back."

And so after paying he left the bar. john wanted to find out what his mana type is and try to earn money while he is at it. 

Currently, John is still staying at the restaurant's spare room so he wants to make some quests to earn enough to stay in a nearby inn he'll probably ask Fredrick if he can leave for some time.

For now, he goes back and had a pretty nice sleep to prepare him for his journey to 

the capital of the kingdom of Ayliah.
