Nick realizes Crystal's plan and stops asking more questions.
"Well, since you already have a plan in mind, I won't say anything more."
"But if you want to live permanently in Central Town, you have to at least do some things."
Crystal raised her eyebrows and guessed what he was going to say.
"I can bring a car we can by another to another town by using big truck driver"
Crystal was a little helpless. She is hoping that whoever comes to her will stop wasting her time.
"It's only a matter of time before this driver is found, and it's only a matter of time before he finds you..."
He laughed, "But these people have very little time and patience."
"Yes," Crystal sighed.
Maybe Brondon will find her one day? Then, it was time to leave town.
"Actually, it doesn't matter to me but I'm afraid someone will come and cause unnecessary trouble to you and the residents here," Crystal said.
They are silent. Crystal confesses her relationship with Brandon very early on. She doesn't know how to address her relationship with Brandon. She says she likes Brondon. She and Brondon have a lot of awkward issues.
Nick didn't dig deep; He said no problem.
To this day, he responds to Crystal's words, "That's okay... Why frighten yourself by chasing rumors and shadows?"
Moreover, when Nick took a sip of tea, he was unusually confused. He had been waiting for Brondon's arrival for a long time.
Sensing Crystal's helplessness and feeling suffocated by the silent atmosphere, Nick chuckled and tossed her a communication chip.
"Don't worry about these things, throw away your communication chip first."
"Actually, your idea is very good. It is wrong for you not to give results to the person who comes to you."
Crystal wondered, "The result?"
Nick held his chin, feeling a little sleepy.
"Any result is good. human is a strange creature. He does not give up so easily as long as there is no result..."
With no result, dead or alive, starting a new family and having a new partner or not remembering anything and becoming a completely new person, Crystal thought silently.
She is not precious and important to Brandon. If Brondon really had the patience to go to her, she would leave if she got any of the above results.
Crystal doesn't know where to Nick find the car. Crystal's driving skills are good, but the path is very difficult in mountains and forests. The bumpy road made Nick almost vomit.
"Brother, where are we going?"
Nick waits for a while and asks her to park the car in the woods, then asks Crystal to get out of the car.
"See that hill?"
Crystal watched from afar,
A dangerous hill lay less than two hundred meters away from them.
"This cliff is called the Bird Cliff because no one but flying birds can cross it. Every year, many extreme enthusiasts come to challenge it."
"So, every year, there are some accidents."
Crystal understood immediately.
"Do you think my pursuers think I'm dead here?"
Nick laughs, "We're not driving, we're walking there."
Two people walked side by side, half of their footprints erased by the blue pool.
Common people should not have such subtlety. Maybe Nick is a suspense drama enthusiast? Crystal was thinking wildly, but Nick patted the lapel of her clothes.
"Take off your jacket."
Nick looked thin, but he was surprisingly strong. He stuffs Crystal's wallet into her coat pocket and throws her coat down the hill with him.
Crystal exclaimed, "Is it falling down? I heard a noise!"
Nick smiled and said, "Don't worry, it's hanging from the tree."
Crystal looked down and saw that the clothes were indeed hanging from the branches on the cliff.
.....
Now the crystal is completely relieved. No matter how good her mental quality is, there are times when she just can't hold on anymore. It was rare for her to fall asleep quickly, thinking of those chasing after her.
Nick didn't sleep.
He sat alone in the room for a while as the dusk sunlight obscured his face. If Crystal were standing here, he would definitely be scared, because at this point, Nick and Brondon looked up to each other so much that that kind of perfection was natural pride.
The house in Nick looks small with only two floors, but it is actually well designed, with a unique interior and attic that only the owner knows about.
The wooden floor creaked slightly and Nick wasn't worried about waking Crystal.
He hadn't been to this attic in a long time. It wasn't a gruesome murder scene and no treasure was piled up inside. Only a few chairs have thick dust.
Nick didn't sit down, but stood and turned on his phone.
The crystal's communication chip was somewhat damaged and some information was lost when reading the contacts. Therefore, he could see the phone number and number of calls, but not the contact notes.
Nick patiently turns it over, picks the guy who made the most calls, and calls him.
The phone responded quickly,
"Hey, Crystal, you finally answered the phone. After all these days you're worried about letting me die?"
Nick nodded, already knowing who she was. Unfortunately, he is not the man she is looking for.
A very light chuckle came from the other end of the phone and Emma's heart suddenly tightened.
"Who are you?"
However, these few words, if you think about it carefully, can be very negative.
Emma frowned, "You don't need to know who I am."
"Miss Ford is a brilliant person . . If she was a smart person, she wouldn't have called Crystal at this point to avoid unnecessary trouble."
He hung up the phone.
There were no windows in the small attic, so Nick was not afraid even if he stood in the dark, but at this moment he felt a rare knot in his heart.
Do you want to continue?
