Twyla wished Aurora would let her stop spinning in midair. Everything was a blur of nature. At least it was night so she had no idea which way was up or down anyway.
"Twyla!"
She knew that voice. She tried to look up. She tried to force her head to move, to find that voice. To find Hunter.
"Well, hello there," Aurora purred. "You must be the little cub that's been all over this nasty human."
Twyla had no idea what was happening around her. Was Hunter alone? She hoped not.
"Get off me," Hunter commanded. "Who are you?"
"Oh. I don't think I will. You feel quite good. Doesn't he, Twyla?"
Twyla finally stopped spinning and her head snapped up. Her eyes locked onto Hunter. Aurora was trailing her fingers up and down Hunter's muscular arms. Hunter looked angry.
"I said, doesn't he?" Aurora screamed.
"Yes," Twyla breathed.
"Oh! Would you look at that?" Aurora giggled. "The human does have a voice."
