Chapter 68 - 68. Burning Half Of The Forest

While Xie Yue was enjoying his night in pleasure with his sister, it was not the case for some people.

Fasinuo Province, Saint Soul Village,

There stood a small house with an ugly hammer sign. It is the current home of the world's youngest titled Douluo, Tang Hao.

Inside one of the three rooms in the house, a child of five or six years old sat on a tattered bed, crossed-legged. The child had light-colored skin and was thin. It was no one else but Tang San.

"Why am I unable to break through to the second level of the Mysterious Heaven Technique? I was able to practice Purple Demon I without any problem. But my Mysterious Heaven Technique is still stuck there... Is there something wrong with the world I was born into?" Tang San's mind was full of questions.

It had been five and a half years since he came to this world, but he had never left this small village until now and was living a pitiful life with only porridge as his food, with no meat whatsoever.

Life was really hard for him, but he had no complaints. Although his alcoholic father didn't care about him much, Tang San still respected him as a father. For an orphan in his first life, having a family member to call upon was a luxury. He cherished this relationship very much.

But now that this Mysterious Heaven skill had been unable to break through, it put him under so much pressure. Eating porridge and being hungry was not that hard to compromise compared to not being able to practice his stolen skills.

"I can only continue to try since I don't have much knowledge about this world...." With that, Tang San drifted to sleep with a dejected heart.

Somewhere between Heaven Dou Empire and the STGT sect,

A luxury carriage with a royal emblem was speeding down the road at astonishing speed. But there was no royal guard group following behind for protection. The carriage was driven by a two-meter-tall, slender middle-aged man radiating a powerful aura. At his side sat another bulkier, purple-haired middle-aged man with an aura no weaker than the former.

These two were none other than She Long and Ci Xue, respectively the Snake Lance Douluo and the Porcupinefish Douluo. They glanced at each other helplessly as the former drove the carriage hurriedly.

They didn't open their mouths for fear of disturbing the one inside their carriage.

These two were among the few people in this world with Title Douluo-level strength, their soul power reaching over level 91. But they didn't dare to speak directly and only communicated using mental power.

One could guess who was inside the carriage that could make two Title Douluos feel humble and helpless. It was Qian Renxue, the Young Master of Spirit Hall, or specifically, the only granddaughter of Qian Daoliu.

"Do you know why the Young Master is angry?!" Ci Xue asked She Long using mental power.

Glancing at him with contempt, She Long replied, "How would I know? Haven't we always been together? If you don't know the reason, then I don't either."

"Alas... it has something to do with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School. Because of those two swords and bones, we are unable to sneak into the sect and protect the Young Master," Ci Xue said with a helpless look.

"Yeah, something must have happened in there. But I can't possibly think of what could make the Young Master angry. We haven't seen her get angry for years. With her personality, what could make her angry?" She Long voiced his thoughts.

"Yeah, it has to be something extraordinary or important... Hey, do you think we should report it to the Elder Palace?"

"Are you a fool? You don't want your head anymore. We are only her guards. Unless the Young Master faces a life-threatening situation, we aren't allowed to report any information related to her to the Elder Palace."

"Even if it was something important, we can't possibly report this. You know how much Grand Worship dotes on the Young Master. We aren't here to disturb her freedom and personal life. Our duty is only to assist and guard her. So don't do something stupid thinking you are smart," She Long emphasized hurriedly.

"Yeah, I understand. You don't need to nag me. I just asked casually. Haha," Ci Xue laughed it off.

The order they received was to follow and obey Qian Renxue's words completely. They weren't allowed to have long noses or short noses. If it weren't for this reason, Xie Yue's details would have long been known to Spirit Hall.

After all, they were the ones Qian Renxue asked to monitor Xie Yue and analyze him a year ago. She did it because she knew they wouldn't disclose anything and would only obey her words. She didn't want to act unfilial to her master, but she also had her own thoughts about what was right and wrong. That is why she told them to monitor Xie Yue even though her master had instructed her not to tell anyone.

While her master's words were important, she also had to think for Spirit Hall.

Soon, the carriage stopped in front of a small forest. Ci Xue disappeared to survey the area. Soon he returned and bowed his head in front of the carriage, saying, "Young Master, the forest is safe."

Within the carriage, a melodic but moody woman's voice came, "Do not follow."

With that, a bright golden light flashed as the woman disappeared.

She Long and Ci Xue straightened up their bodies to guard the surroundings. Seeing how angry their Young Master was, there would surely be thunderous noises in the forest. They had to be on guard in case someone or something disturbed their Young Master's alone time.

As expected, soon after the woman's disappearance, thunderous sounds came from the forest one after another. Golden light flashed here and there as trees and animals lost their lives. Soon a wildfire caught in the forest, burning half of it completely.

Looking at this, Ci Xue and She Long exchanged helpless glances.

------

Inside the forest,

A woman clad in a golden dress stood amidst the surrounding fire, holding a sword.

The woman seemed to be around fifteen or sixteen years old, but her appearance was nothing short of angelic. She had a celestial face; her skin was smooth as jade. Her long, flowing golden hair reached down to her ankles and was adorned with beautiful but simple accessories.[Image]

She had phoenix eyes, a straight nose, and beautiful red small lips on her somewhat stately face. Although she was young, her body was more ample than many older women; her waist was extremely slender, her chest towering, perfectly curved hips, a perfectly round bottom, and long, slender thighs stretching out below.

What was most striking was the aura she radiated. It was pure and ethereal, a testament to her angelic nature. But alongside this aura, she was currently radiating a frighteningly dangerous presence. This person was none other than Qian Renxue.

'Please... get out of my mind...'

Qian Renxue was tired. She had used up all her soul power to vent her anger on these forest trees and soul beasts. She wanted to forget that horrible-looking thing, but she was unable to.

'That thing... Please gooo away....,' Qian Renxue screamed in her mind.

After parting with Xie Yue, the first thing she did was inform her master about her departure. She needed a place to vent her anger and forget that thing.

So, after redirecting her royal guards, she came to this forest with her two hidden guards. She indeed vented her anger, chopping all these trees into pieces and burning them, thinking that all these trees were that damn horrible thing.

But by doing so, her memories became even deeper. The more her memory deepened, the more she recalled the scene. And the more she recalled, the more her body became uncomfortable and restless.

That image of Xie Yue's appearance had already ingrained itself in the deepest part of her memories. Now she couldn't forget it, even if she wanted to. Knowing this, Qian Renxue was... crying.

She sobbed like a pitiful girl, her face flushed, tears forming in her eyes continuously. She wanted to shoo that image away but felt helpless.

She clutched the sword in her hand tightly and chopped another tree into pieces. But still, that image kept coming back.

Xie Yue had guessed correctly. The current Qian Renxue had only one weakness, and his plan to exploit that was unexpectedly a huge success.

Even though she was smart, calm, composed, and meticulous, she was still, in all, a young woman. She couldn't control her bodily desires with her little experience. So here she was, telling that big mouse to go away, looking pitiful.

Time passed as she sobbed, but she also knew that sobbing like a weak girl was not an option.

A cute determined face, she wiped away her tears with her back hand and muttered.

"Since I can't chase you away from my mind... Then I, I will...."
