"My face doesn't matter, humph, after all, life and death are fated!" Such fearless words made Jennifer feel nothing but contempt; being with the wrong people brought her no good.
With no choice, Jennifer had to blindfold herself. After an hour, they finally arrived at their destination. Someone helped her get out of the car, and after climbing four flights of stairs, they finally let her go. "You can take off your blindfold now."
Suddenly seeing the light, Jennifer felt a sting in her eyes and blinked a few times before it became a bit more comfortable. In the blur, she seemed to see a masked man standing and her mother tied to a chair. After straining to see clearly, she realized her mother's mouth was taped shut.
