"Jennifer, that handsome guy! He's even more attractive than the man in the suit we saw last night!" Marigold couldn't help but exclaim. She only showed her excitement in front of people she was familiar with and trusted; otherwise, she usually faced everyone with a cold expression, often feeling a sense of annoyance toward the people and things around her.
If it weren't for Jennifer standing up for her and facing the backlash from the bad guys, Marigold probably wouldn't be so warm toward her, as if they were long-time friends. It had been over a week since they met, and they had hardly spoken much.
