Xavier spoke affectionately, using "she" instead of "you," indirectly expressing his love. Even if Jennifer couldn't understand him, he wanted to say it out loud; keeping it bottled up inside was truly painful.
Jennifer was stunned. She never expected that the woman held such an important place in Xavier's heart. "No! Xavier, you can't do this. Think about Genevieve. When you start having feelings for another woman, Genevieve feels the same way about you. After all these years together, you wouldn't want to hurt her, would you?"
