He slams open the door to the support labs with all the strength he could muster. The resounding slam of the door against the wall startled more than a few of the people in the room and when they saw him (specifically MeiMei and Powerloader-Sensei) they all ran up to him glad to see him healthy and alive. Although MeiMei saw him just last weekend, so he doesn't know why she's so ecstatic to see him, but he welcomes the excited leap into his arms anyways. They both fall to the floor cackling like mad scientists (which they are) and the scene has more than a few of them sighing in relief.
Izuku taps MeiMei's back, telling her to get off, and wheezes as she pushes herself up, using his chest as leverage. He greets his classmates and teacher as normal and then an idea pops into his head and he tells Powerloader-Sensei that he's going to go visit Eraserhead's class. The Support Hero waves him off and he winks at MeiMei, a sign that he's sure to cause as much chaos as he can.
And he does. Because once he gets to the door and he hears his guardian (not dad. Not yet anyways.) corralling his class into some semblance of order, he bangs open the door as loud as possible. He smirks in Bakugou's direction, a sly Cheshire smirk, and he walks over to Aizawa and limpets himself onto the man's shoulders.
"Whatcha doing dad ." Izuku's tone is all teasing and he winks at the class, watching as they freeze when he calls their teacher dad. Aizawa for his part, sighs and grabs Izuku by the scruff of his shirt, yanking the teen forward.
"Shouldn't you be in class Izuku?" Aizawa asks.
"Not really. Powerloader-Sensei knows I'm here so I doubt he minds. I am his favorite after all." Izuku says, pulling out a jelly pouch from his guardian's capture weapon. "Strawberry? Really?"
"If you don't want it, give it back, Problem Child." Izuku's pretty sure he wasn't meant to hear the last part.
"Nah. Thanks." Izuku falls off Aizawa's back, landing on his feet. He locks eyes with Toshi and immediately runs towards the boy, jumping over heads and on desks, ignoring the designated pathways because those are boring. He can tell Toshi wants the ground to open up and swallow him whole, but Izuku doesn't care. Izuku hasn't seen his friend since he dyed his hair
"Toshi!" Izuku exclaimed, landing on Toshi's desk.
"Zuku, what are you doing?" Toshi asked.
"Do you like my hair? I know you saw it when I first dyed it but look at it!" Izuku didn't really care about what Toshi thought of his hair. Like he said, the other boy had already seen it when it was first finished and it wasn't like the dye was going to come out. He wasn't worried about Bakugou noticing him either. So maybe he was doing this to take the fast approaching trial for Inko off of his mind. Can you really blame him?
Either way, he bounced on the balls of his feet in excitement, clearly waiting for Toshi to answer.
"Yeah. Looks as good as the day you had it done." Toshi drawls.
"Yay! Hey you should come over sometime! Aizawa can Toshi come over sometime?" Izuku shouted, not caring that the class was being stopped because of him.
"Yeah, yeah, just get back to class you gremlin." Aizawa said, not a hint of heat in his tone.
"Fine, fine." Izuku said in faux disappointment. He turned around before leaving through the door. "If any of ya ever need gear come see me and MeiMei in the support labs!"
He ran out the door, hearing a "damn Problem Child" being said as he left. He chuckles as he runs down the hall sliding around corners and just barely missing running into walls. He's unashamed to admit that he somewhat missed being in the halls of UA.
Hitoshi can feel the staring from the electric blonde on the other side of the room. He's not sure why the other teen is staring at him, but he ignores it. It's not that important anyway. At least he hopes it isn't. He doesn't know if he did something to offend the other, so he idly wonders throughout each class why the teen is still staring at him and not paying attention to the lectures. The staring doesn't stop until the lunch bell rings and everyone packs up to get to the cafeteria. Hitoshi has other plans though. Those plans being making sure his two very chaotic and semi-unhealthy friends take care of themselves because Kami knows they'll forget to eat during the designated time. He was out of the door and in the support department in no time, opening the door to the lab loudly. He was really glad no one else was in the room besides his weird friends and their very exhausted teacher.
"Oh! Shinsou please. Please take them. Get them some food or something I don't know, just keep them out of here until lunch is over." Wow ok already the first day back and they're making Majima-Sensei this done with life.
"Aye-aye cap'n." Hitoshi says sarcastically with a lazy salute, walking up to the duo. "Zuku, Mei c'mon."
"Toshi!" They both exclaim at once before returning to what they were previously doing. Yeah he doesn't know how he's friends with the 2 most energetic people in Japan, but he is and he can't get away so he might as well make sure they're taking care of themselves.
"Yup. C'mon I think Lunch Rush made katsudon today." That gets Izuku's attention and he drops his tools. Mei follows because they both know how bored she gets when Izuku's not there to work on projects with her. Hitoshi swears they're twins with how alike they act.
Izuku all but grabs Hitoshi's wrist and drags him out of the lab and to the cafeteria, Mei cackling behind them.
They make it to the cafeteria, Izuku pushing his way through the crowd and Hitoshi letting himself be dragged along. Mei already went to get them a table, so the boys got all of them food. Izuku grabs the katsudon (obviously) and Hitoshi gets himself and Mei some kind of noodle dish. He wasn't really paying attention to what Lunch Rush called it. Izuku had let go of Hitoshi's wrist so the bi colored teen could carry his and Mei's trays.
Izuku slides in next to Mei when they get to the table and hands her her tray, peeking over her shoulder to see what project she's planning out in her notebook. Hitoshi didn't want to risk looking over to see what his 2 friends had begun animatedly talking about in favor of ignoring their food because he knew he would be dragged into it one way or another.
He knows, in the deepest parts of his mind, that he'll end up getting dragged into their schemes whether he inputs himself into them willingly or not, so he decides to remind them to eat. Kami, he feels like a mother worrying about his friends. Lunch is going fine. Izuku and Mei haven't blown up the cafeteria yet and with Hitoshi constantly reminding them to eat they finished their food.
When there's 15 minutes of lunch left, Hitoshi feels eyes on the back of his head again. He really wants to know what he did to upset the blonde for him to be staring at Hitoshi so much, but he doesn't feel like asking. It's too much of a hassle if he's being honest.
"ーshi? Toshi?" Izuku's voice sounds over the noise of the cafeteria.
"Hm? What?" Hitoshi asks, bringing his attention back to the support duo.
"What's wrong? You spaced out." Izuku says, leaning forward and placing a hand on Hitoshi's forehead. "Nope. No fever."
"I'm not sick 'Zuku. Just thinking." Hitoshi says.
"Oh! Ok! Well what are you thinking about?" Izuku asks, Mei having already gone back to her notebook once Hitoshi said he wasn't sick.
"One of my classmates has been staring at me all day." Hitoshi says, deciding it's more effort than it's worth to lie.
"Well, just ignore them then!" Izuku exclaims, sitting back down.
"That's what I'm planning on doing." Hitoshi says, going back to his phone. He ignores the staring for the rest of lunch, hoping the other teen will come talk to him about why he keeps staring.
