"How did Brianna was when she first arrived here?"
Knitting her brows as though she was trying to remember the past months, Melissa answered calmly after, "She was…too terrified of everything. She would curl in the corner and hide her face from us."
Ian nodded as he wrote down her responses, "Did you know why she acted that way?"
"Well, she kept insisting she didn't do it. You know? The attempted murder of her brother. She kept saying she was not a murderer, that she didn't do it." Melissa leaned back in her seat and soon felt comfortable talking with the two detectives.
She continued, "Also, what do you expect from a rich girl suddenly getting thrown into jail? Of course! She didn't want to mingle with us and just isolated herself. She acted so mighty at first and looked down at us as if we were criminals, you know?! That certainly was annoying."
