Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Prologue... Let's begin.

"Huh... uh, where am I?"

'The last thing I remember was finishing the last episode of season 7 of My Hero Academia after binge watching it. I'm sure I just went for a nap... so where am I?'

In a walkway stood a boy about 14 years old, wearing a student uniform, with striking white hair, grey eyes, and pale skin. He stood out among his peers. As he stood motionless in place, lost in thought as if he had the world on his shoulders.

"Stupid Deku!"

"Kacchan."

"Get out of my way now before I make an explosion out of you."

"huh!"

"O-oh, okay. I- its just I wanted to-."

"Um... let's just both do our best out there, ok, good luck."

Turning toward the sudden commotion, he sees two students, both male; one has a kind of darkish green hair while the other has a bleach blonde hair color. The boy with the darkish green hair is swaying his hands up and down, speaking frantically in a high-pitched annoying voice, while the other boy ignores him and continues walking.

'Isn't that Deku and Bakugo over there, but this scene is from season 1 episode 3... but that can't be; how can I experience it to such a realistic degree? This must be a dream.'

Pinching the side of his stomach in hopes he was dreaming, he felt a wave of pain that jolted him into attention, making him yell in pain.

"Ouch!"

'Holy shit that hurts. So... I'm not dreaming, then what am I doing here?'

"Umm... are you okay?"

Turning to the voice behind him, he sees another important character from the series, Ochako Uraraka. With her brown hair, big eyes, and flustered cheeks, she was the definition of cute.

"Uh, yeah, I am... can I ask you a question by chance? Is this building in front of us really U.A. High School?"

"Yes, it is."

"I... see... thank you and sorry for disturbing you."

"No problem, I'm happy to help; well, if that's all I have to go now."

"Mhm, thanks again."

As she walks away, the scene continues with her saving Deku from falling using her quirk and him monologue to himself after she walks away.

~Sigh~

This is going to be troublesome. From what I'm to understand at the moment, I became a character in the show, but I wasn't a leading character like Deku, the leading villain like Shigaraki Tomura, or even a major side character like Todoroki, Aizawa, Bakugo, All Might, etc.

I'm not even a minor character like Gran Torino, Hound Dog, Nezu, etc.

I doubt this body was even shown throughout the whole series; in other words, I'm an extra, but even an extra has more presence than me... I could die at any moment, and nobody would even care to notice.

~Ding~ ~Dong~

The bell began to ring; he snapped out of his internal worries; he noticed students rushing into the building and not wanting to stand out even more than needed, so he followed suite.

-----

This should be where Deku would be getting all the relevant information needed for the *U.A. High School Hero Course* and the *Exam Orientation*.

That's good and all, but how am I going to defend myself against these monsters? Even a child could kill me.

"What's up, U.A. candidates? You're tuning into me, your school DJ!"

"Cool, then let's get it on!"

'Guess he's the same as shown in the show.'

On a platform giving his speech is Hizashi Yamada, mostly known by his hero name Present Mic. He is known for his eccentric persona, long blond hair, and his use of a directional speaker with his quirk. Present Mic often doubles as a DJ and serves as an announcer when needed.

'I don't have to listen to what he's going to say, for I'm aware of the practical exams and how they're going to be handled.

Also, I checked for my exam ticket and found out my name is the same as it was in my world before coming here.'

[Exam ticket]

Name: Flux Wavecrest

Age: 14

Quirk: Salt manipulation and ???

Unknown Examinee No.: 3256

Test Location: Battle Center B

At least that's out of the way. I was worried I had no name, and another shocking thing I discovered from the exam ticket is a picture of myself, and I am not one to brag, but damn!

I look good. For an extra, I thought I would be looking iffy, but at least I'm blessed in the looks department.

Also, it seems I'm in the same battle center as Deku. It's not surprising, actually; I've read quite a few novels on what I'm experiencing, so it was something I expected but didn't want confirmed.

No use fussing over something out of my control; I need to make the most of what I got with what I know. And since I know what my quirk is, during the practical exam I will test out my abilities and see what I am capable of.

I know what to expect, unlike Deku and the rest, so I have the edge on them at least. There are (3) villain bots, each with a point system that will give either 3, 2, or 1 point respectfully.

The examinees, aka students, have ten minutes to use their quirks to immobilize robotic villains and score points based on the individual robot's point value. Each defeated Villain Bot is worth a certain number of points:

Points Scale: Easy Villains: 1-point Medium Villains: 2-points Hard Villains: 3-points Arena Traps: 0-points (Arena Traps are massive Villain Bots meant to trap and weed out high-scoring candidates; they're not meant to be fought.)

The more points an examinee earns, the higher their chance of getting accepted into U.A. High... the judges also reward rescue points for heroic acts, which students learn about only after receiving their exam results.

"I'll use that to my advantage."

'I wonder should I attempt entering if it's possible. Even if I get in, what would be my move after? The main scenarios center around the academy, and that means danger at every turn."

'Most, if not everyone, has some kind of plot armor backing them; I don't, so if I slip up, I'll really die.'

"Although... the safest place is mostly the dangerous place."

---

"Let's hear a PLUS ULTRA! Good luck; I hope you all practice what you learned in your books."

!!!

"Huh... oh, I guess he's finished... it's really about to begin, my first major plotline."

~Sigh~

"Let's begin."

----

Battle Center B...

In front of the battle center, numerous examinees gathered at the entrance, waiting for the exam to start. The examinees were flabbergasted at the mere size of the battle center, leaving them to gossip amongst each other.

"~Whoa~"

"~Whoa!"

"~Wow~"

"~This is nuts~"

"~It's like a whole city~"

"Can you imagine how much it takes to build this?"

"U.A. is amazing"

'Hm... I see some familiar faces in this group... huh, that's Ochaco Uraraka. I'll go talk to her.'

"Hey."

"Uh... hey, it's you the boy from early... are you doing fine now?"

"Yeah, I'm doing fine. Thanks for asking... I didn't give you my name before and I saw you over here, and a thought came to my mind to reintroduce myself."

Raising his hand for a handshake he said.

"My name is Flux Wavecrest; you can call me Flux."

Returning the handshake with joyous intent, she remarked.

"Hi there! I'm Ochaco Uraraka, but you can call me Ochaco."
