There's 4 continents known in total to the human race of this world called 'Prithbi' a ancient word. To begin with human can't be the same human as earth human as it's DNA base and some extra internal body part distinguish them like mana organ a extremely little organ that directly resides on heart also another organ with similar function directly under skin where belly button is.
As for dragons they used to be overlord race of the western continent's 48 thousands years ago. They holded their position for 100 of thousands years. No one know who were before them expect dragons ancestors and gods but dragon after fighting for more than 3 thousand constant non-stop war against Coalition led by elf and fairy race they ultimate gave up getting their 99% race whipped out and fled to a island shut themselves up only on rare occasions like pilgrimage to to ancestorial land that one can see a dragon.
All this only for land is true, the reason 69% of the world still water; more precisely oceans and seas consists of 66% of it.
And their rule multiple different sea race and dragons have large sway on them as they were last of the vassal races of dragon even now sharkmen race still obey dragons strictly. Only for eastern and southern region it is true. As maily thunder and water dragon race resides in these regions. On the other hand lizardmen, dragonoid, wyvern, griffon race is still vassal to red, black and gold dragon race. There's multiple beastmen race, mixed blooded orc race, true orc races, demon race and angel race too. Demon race mainly banished in demon realms and angel in celestial realms along with gods.
Despite being called gods, angel and demons they aren't real one as they bound by this world law..as one would expect because power hunger they mislead people since they know as long as touch the bottom line true god wouldn't care much but when real dooms day comes they will be sent to real hell without mercy and chance for judgement. But until then can committee sin wuthout worry. Some unlucky one will have their existence destroyed, not even hell will be their resting place. Without knowing and knowing effects different naturally ; so, sometimes even powerful lifeform instead of growing their lifespan choose natural death with repenting as last ditch effort when they find out the truth. One of main reason powerful life form like dragons that could pass down knowledge as inheritance decided to seal these knowledge for fear that celestial dragon will loose their rule over their race. Same for others too!
They even worked together to destroy those race who didn't agreed to.
