The rain had been relentless since Alice arrived at work, casting a goomy shadow over the entire day. As the hours dragged on, the droplets continued to fall from the grey sky, showing no signs of letting up. By closing time, the downpour had only intensified, drumming a steady beat against the pavement.
As the rain poured down, Alice rushed to the underground parking lot, shivering without a jacket. Her frustration grew when she discovered a flat tire. With a weak phone signal, she couldn't call for help.
Just then, a man in a black suit approached her. "Good day, miss. My boss would like you to ride with him."
Alice followed him, unsure who his boss was. When she entered the car, she was taken aback by the handsome and intimidating figure beside her - Mr. Black, the CEO.
She stammered, "S-s-sir," avoiding eye contact, aware of his notorious reputation.
During the ride, she felt his intense gaze but didn't dare look up. When she shivered, he surprisingly covered her shoulders with his jacket.
"Thank you," she whispered, still looking down.
When the ride ended, she tried to return the jacket, but he said, "Why not return it tomorrow?"
Alice nodded and thanked him before stepping out. Mr. Black watched her enter her apartment before speaking to his assistant. "Nicely done."
Later, while making dinner, Alice realized she was out of eggs and went to buy some. As she crossed the road, a car lost control and knocked her down. The last thing she saw was a man in black walking towards her before everything went dark.
Alice regained consciousness in an unfamiliar room, resembling a luxurious hotel suite. As she took in her surroundings, a man stood up from his seat and approached her, his hands in his pockets. His chiseled features and piercing gaze made her heart race.
"W-who are you?" Alice stammered, trying to hide her fear. "Why am I here?"
The man smiled warmly, but his eyes hinted at a mischievous intent. "I'm the one who ran you over with my car. You're in a hotel room. My name is...not important right now." He said the last part in a seductive tone.
Alice's eyes narrowed, unsure of what to make of him. "I need to leave," she said, trying to stand up, but he grasped her wrist, holding her in place.
"Too late for that," he whispered, his breath tickling her ear. "You're not well enough to leave. Spend the night, and I'll take you home in the morning."
Alice struggled to break free, but he held firm. "Please," she begged, her voice trembling.
He released her wrist, but his gaze lingered on her face. "Freshen up, join me for dinner, and I'll take you home."
Alice hesitated, unsure of what to do. But something about his tone put her on edge, and she decided to comply, hoping to escape later.
