Mrs. Allen looked at Eric with a frown and asked, "Eric, you and Avery grew up together. Is there really no hope for you two?"
"Auntie, I'm sorry, but I have always seen her as a sister," Eric replied coolly.
Mrs. Allen's gaze shifted to Ella. Seeing how beautiful she was, with eyes like stars that were both clear and captivating, her lips twisted into a mocking smile. "You must still be a student, right? I didn't expect someone so young to be so adept at seducing men."
