'Brother Zarok, are you excited,' said my sister Rina as I nodded to her. 'It will be fun to learn magic,' I said, reaffirming my thoughts.
Because Rina and I have a Mental type talent, it gives us the ability to learn magic of an element. In this world only those blessed with mental talents can learn magic, the most common being talents related to an element, fire, water, earth, lightning, nature and the two rarest being light and darkness.
The second type of mental talent can be alchemy, smithing or runes. Each grants innate ability to that craft and the ability to use magic related to that element. Rina is talented in the lightning element and I am talented in the water element.
Because of our beauty and talent both my sister and I have gained popularity, especially among Goblins looking for a mate, each having had to turn down at least one Hobgoblin and half a dozen High Goblins.
Rina and I continued talking until we arrived at a rather large 3 story building. It is one of the largest in the tribe, where all the shamans and magic apprentices study and work, we quickly arrived at our classroom. There were about 15 Goblins waiting for the teacher.
We didn't wait long before a HobGoblin of about 5.3 feet calmly entered the classroom and approached her table. A soft, beautiful face, inspiring gentleness, dark black hair and light violet eyes. An athletic body, with a small bust, maybe a B, but an ass and legs capable of mesmerizing anyone.
All of us guys couldn't look away and even some of the girls looked like they were about to drool.
"I introduce myself, I'm Lyra, and for the next month, I will be teaching you the use of magic. Magic is a very limited talent and that without exception is one element per person, for example, I possess the fire element, therefore I am and will be unable to use any other element' she instructs us in a calm and confident voice.
'Why can't we use more than one element?' asks Rina.
"Because magic is the vibration between the outer elemental energy together with the inner energy. Our body is built from this inner energy, from the skin, the heart and the mana veins, having a second element would build your body with a different vibration. Therefore, the outer energy of each element would not recognise your inner energy and will not vibrate with yours. That is why you can only gain magical talents at birth or evolution,' he replied before adding, "There are theories that say that people unable to use magic is because their body possesses more than one element, but it is only one of many theories, knowledge of magic is very limited and scarce".
The class continued for two more hours, we learned how to draw and use the mana of our element to fight.
According to Lyra, the teacher, one needs to use the mana of the environment to fight, manipulate that mana and the limit of its use is your mind, for example, water can be used in its three states, liquid, solid and gaseous.
'Professor Lyra, what applications does the water element have in alchemy?' I asked while attending to the water element mages.
'Alchemy, usually working with potions and ingredients, being able to use the water element allows you to better follow the recipe of the potion or creation to the point that some without the ability of the water element are not possible to make,' she replied before adding 'the clearest example is the hucow potion, you need the liquid to be static but at the same time stir the bottom of the cauldron, only a water mage can,' she added looking at me a few times before turning to the earth element group.
'That was amazing, the applications, paths and uses are endless' said Rina, jumping for joy on the way home, I nodded in response, the potential of the magic was incredible, I would spend the whole month working hard on my magic, 'the goal will be to get to Mage Lvl 4'.
Mages possess ranks, from mage as the lowest, High Mage, Grand Mage to Sage Mage as the pinnacle of the magical world.
The days flew by, hanging out with my sister, attending teacher Lyra's classes and practising magic just on the last day before leaving magic and entering the magical world.

This last day I tell Lyra about my progress and she is surprised about my achievements and congratulates me. Rina on the other hand gets angry with me because I have advanced her and she is still at Lvl 3 of her Class Electro Mage.
