Amelia's form finally wavered as he said those words. He felt her shift for the first time since he had hugged her.
And in the next moment, he felt his shoulders getting wet, making him realize that the tears she had held back for so long had finally broken down.
In tandem, he felt her move again, before wrapping her arms around him and reciprocating the hug.
All the feelings and tears she had held back for so long…
Amon had made her finally release it all out on his shoulders.
And he was there for it all, giving her his shoulder to cry as much as she wanted.
The two remained locked in a hug for several minutes without moving, in complete silence except for the sound of quite sobbing from Amelia on his shoulders.
It was only when she was finally done that she moved apart, wiping the tears from her eyes.
