As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the land, Ryo embarked on an unusual task. With a determined gaze, he descended the staircase, his intentions clear. In his mind, even though the undead were mindless, they could serve as sentinels, guarding his sanctuary from prying human eyes.
Ryo started to drag the undead inside. Their once decaying bodies had now healed and become whole. The skin, though pale and greyish, showed no signs of rot or decay. Their eyes, still black and lifeless, stared blankly ahead, their bodies serving as a warning to any potential intruders. He positioned them strategically, blocking the staircase and creating an eerie barricade.
