"Akainu!"
In a confrontation, the demon cutter sword in his hand was knocked into the air by Akainu.
The long sword rotated at high speed in mid-air, and Lynch took the opportunity to grab Akainu's head.
"Thunder Fist!"
A surge of fierce lightning erupted from Lynch's fist as he unleashed a devastating punch. Most of Akainu's head was blow up in an instant.
"Shave."
Vice Admiral Doberman appeared behind Lynch in a flash, his sword ignited with blazing flames, and stabbed towards Lynch's heart.
"Get lost!"
With a swift and powerful kick, Lynch sent Doberman flying like a ball, blood dripping from the corner of Doberman's mouth as he crashed to the ground.
Doberman tumbled across the ground hundreds of times before slamming into a large rock, his entire body aching miserably.
As he lay there, weaponless and horrified, he groaned inwardly, 'I'm a Vice Admiral, yet one casual kick sent me flying. How can I ever show my face again?'
"Lynch, you dare to hurt Marine Vice Admiral in front of me!"
Meanwhile, Akainu's head, blown apart by Lynch's Thunder Fist, regenerated seamlessly as molten lava. The fiery mass ensnared Lynch's fist, trapping it within Akainu's head.
Although the magma's intense heat was harmless to Lynch's body, but it will take time to pull it out.
"Dark Hound!"
Seizing a rare opening, Akainu's fist swelled to the size of a football, taking the shape of a ferocious dog head.
Without hesitation, he drove it into Lynch's chest, magma erupting violently as the fiery Dark Hound seemed to roar silently.
This was Akainu's most devastating and penetrating attack—the same move that had blown off half of Whitebeard's head during the Summit War, nearly ending the legendary pirate's life.
"What?!"
Akainu's triumphant smirk twisted into a look of disbelief.
The good news: his attack landed on Lynch.
The bad news: it didn't penetrate.
Dark Hound's destructive force was lodged in Lynch's chest, unable to push through to his heart.
'What kind of absurd physical fitness is this? Maybe Kaido's title as the 'strongest creature in sea, land, and air' should go to you instead,' Akainu muttered, his disbelief barely hidden.
Normally, even two mountains would have been pierced clean through by his Dark Hound attack.
But today, the move, known for its destructive power, failed to breach Lynch's body.
Ignoring the shock surging through his mind, Akainu focused on the magma embedded in Lynch's chest, intending to trigger a devastating Great Eruption from within.
However, Lynch was faster.
"I'm just going to say I let you hit me on purpose. Do you believe that?" Lynch said, his tone carrying a hint of mockery.
The scene was weird—Lynch's arm remained grip in Akainu's head, while Akainu's arm was remain in Lynch's chest. It looked almost like an awkwardly close bond between "brothers."
Meanwhile, the demon sword, which had been spinning wildly through the air, completed its dramatic flight with ninety-nine turns. It landed perfectly back in Lynch's hand, as though it had never left.
"One-Sword Style: Tyrannical Strike, God-Slaying Slash."
"Jiejiejiejie~"
Lynch waved the demon sword and smiled with great joy. The grimace on the demon sword also followed the owner's ugly laughter, as if he was excited about eating a powerful soul.
Contrary to one person and one sword, Akainu's expression is extremely dark.
Trapped in such close proximity, he had no time to fully elementalize his body.
Left with no other option, he braced himself, covering his body with Armament Haki to absorb the incoming attack.
However, as the kilometer-long slash bore down on him, Akainu's presence was dwarfed by its sheer magnitude. The moment the strike connected, Akainu seemed to disappeared entirely.
"Boom~"
The unleashed sword strike roared with endless power, tearing through the air with devastating force. Even after it was released, it continued flying forward, leaving a blazing trail at high speed
The attack struck the ground effortlessly, slicing through it like a hot blade through butter.
The entire Cake Island trembled violently under the overwhelming force. Massive boulders rolled down from the mountains, and large portions of houses crumbled into ruins.
"Earthquake! It's an earthquake!" panicked voices echoed as countless CP members lost their footing and collapsed amidst the chaos.
When the dust settled, the aftermath was chilling—a bottomless trench, five to six kilometers long, scarred the island.
Its depths stretched at least a thousand meters, appearing as a gaping black abyss.
A cold wind rose from the chasm, sending chills down everyone's spines. The sheer sight of the abyss prompted soldiers and agents alike to instinctively back away from Lynch's location.
Had Cake Island been any smaller, a medium-sized island might have been obliterated entirely, sinking into the sea under the might of the devastating strike.
"Holy shit!" Doberman exclaimed, fearfully touching the spot where Lynch had kicked him.
Thanks to you, Admiral Lynch, for not killing me.
This is the kind of power a person can have!
The wounds on his chest were healing visibly fast.
Lynch squatted at the edge of the crack and shouted downwards, "Hey~ Akainu, are you dead? Just make a sound~"
"Are you dead? Just make a sound if you are dead~"
"Are you dead? Just make a sound if you are dead~"
"Squeak when you die~"
"Squeak~"
Only Lynch's teasing voice resonated in the abyss, with no response from Akainu.
"Hmm, looks like you're in trouble down there, Brother Akainu,"
Lynch said with a mock sigh. Standing tall at the cliff's edge, he added, "Don't worry—I'll take good care of your wife and daughter in your absence."
While Lynch and Akainu fought, major changes were happening on several other battlefields.
"Yasakani no Magatama!"
Kizaru flew into the air, spreading his arms as countless radiant light bullets rained down on Big Mom. Explosions echoed repeatedly, but despite the relentless assault, the attack left no mark on her.
Even knowing how fearsome Big Mom's defense was, Kizaru couldn't help but be surprised. His light bullets, potent enough to destroy most enemies, were nothing more than needle pricks to her.
"Your defense is still as terrifying as it was all those years ago, Linlin," Kizaru remarked, his tone half-amused, half-wary.
"Hmph! Come on, little insect, get off my island already!" Big Mom roared.
She gave the order, and Prometheus, the Flame Homie, took its place at the end of Napoleon's sword, while Zeus enveloped the blade, forming a glowing energy ring.
With a powerful swing of the Emperor's Sword, a high-density laser beam erupted from the energy ring, shooting straight toward Kizaru.
"Fist Bone Impact."
"Yata no Kagami."
Garp, standing firmly on the ground, would not let Big Mom attack Kizaru. His fist glowed with black light once again as he launched a powerful blow.
The force of his punch sent Big Mom sliding back several meters.
Taking advantage of the opening, Kizaru activated the Yata no Kagami, teleporting to avoid the path of the incoming laser blast.
"Boom!"
"Hey~ What a terrifying attack," Kizaru said lazily as he teleported next to Garp. "Thanks, Garp-san."
Without hesitation, Garp punched Kizaru on the head. "We're up against a powerful enemy. Stay focused."
"Ahem...Sorry, sorry, I'm just used to it." Kizaru took his hands out of his pockets awkwardly.
