Commencing system overdrive in 3. 2. 1
Wait, what? No-
______
I just woke up with a splitting headache in my bedroom, feeling disoriented. Memories of a bizarre dream flooded back—was it even a dream? The last vivid memory I have is of the system declaring I'd achieved 100% completion on a quest, followed by its announcement of an impending overdrive mode right in the middle of class.
Wait—did the system forcibly take over my body to activate two additional main quests? So, are these vivid dreams of me interacting intimately with other females orchestrated by the system?
Cold sweat trickles down my back as I grasp the full weight of the consequences wrought by the system.
I quickly reached for my phone to check the date, and to my surprise, four days had passed since the system took control. Amidst the notifications, there were messages from Midori and Keiko, a barrage of over 30 texts from Akari, and multiple missed calls from her as well.
Damn, the system really messed up the plot for me this time. Despite not altering my character when it took over my body, it managed to deepen the relationship between two other heroines while keeping a distant and aloof demeanor.
Shit, this is really bad. My once-normal high school life, along with my dreams of a successful career, now feels like an unreachable fantasy. System, why do you hate me so much? Why do you keep sabotaging everything I've worked for?

Shut the fuck up
I swiped at the invisible screen in front of me in frustration, then sat with my head bowed, my right hand pressed against my forehead, and my left arm resting on my thigh, trying to ease the pounding headache.
At that moment, if it were possible, I would have gladly shut down the system in exchange for losing two inches off my testicle length.
After a few more minutes of ranting about my situation, I finally calmed down and took a look at my status.

. . .
Motherfucker, You said you would only award me 15% progress, so why is it 36% and 27%?

STOP!!! Ugh, I now realize what my main objective must be: I need to upgrade this damn system before I can even think about abandoning it. This isn't just about dealing with its current problems; it's about ensuring I have the ability to escape its control entirely. Only by upgrading it can I gain the necessary leverage to break free from its grasp and reclaim my life.
*Sighs*
I just want some peace in my life. Is that too much to ask? I thought, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle over me. I lay back down, draping my arm over my eyes in a futile attempt to block out the chaos. All I wanted was a moment of tranquility, a brief respite from the constant turmoil the system had brought into my life.
*Knock knock*
"Brother," a voice called from behind my room's closed door, "there's someone at the door who insists on seeing you."
Who could it possibly be at this early hour?
After throwing on a tank top and loose pants, I headed downstairs. There, I found my mother and nana peeking through the curtains at something outside, while my father sat calmly in his chair, newspaper in hand. Despite his nonchalant appearance, I knew he was simply maintaining his aloof character to appear unaffected.
Upon seeing me, my mother and nana jumped guiltily, like children caught in the act of mischief.
"Uh-umm," my mother stammered, attempting to cover up the situation. "We invited her in, but she mentioned it won't take long and that she's not ready to meet the family yet." Meanwhile, nana slipped back into the kitchen as if nothing had happened.
Peering from the same spot where they had looked, I caught sight of a girl with short, neatly styled hair that framed her delicate features.
Despite her undeniably cute appearance, her face held an almost serene, expressionless mask, giving her an air of mystery.
Her slender figure was modestly proportioned, with a gentle curvature that hinted at her youthfulness. Not towering in height, she stood with a graceful posture that seemed unaffected by the bustling surroundings.
Her presence, so serene yet intriguing, added an enigmatic charm to the tranquil morning scene.
"Yup, that's Keiko Kitagawa," I muttered, unsure of why she was here so early in the morning. Whatever the reason, I had a sinking feeling it wasn't good news.
"Of all the heroines, the system just had to choose her," I grumbled, frustrated by my lack of knowledge about Keiko Kitagawa.
I assured my mother that Keiko was just a friend who had dropped by to ask about homework. Despite her teasing looks that clearly showed she wasn't entirely convinced, I headed out anyway.
*Clicks*
As soon as I stepped out of the house, Keiko casually took out a camera and snapped a photo of me without any visible reaction, as though it were the most normal thing in the world.
