Part 1: The Entrance
Daniel Park, now inhabiting his new and perfect body, approached the gates of J High School with a mix of excitement and determination. The morning sun cast a golden hue over the bustling courtyard, where students were milling about, chatting and laughing. Daniel could feel the eyes on him the moment he stepped through the entrance.
Girls of all ages turned their heads, their conversations halting mid-sentence as they took in his presence. Whispers followed him like a ripple through the crowd. His flawless features and confident stride were captivating, drawing admiring glances and hushed comments.
"Who is that?"
"He's so handsome!"
"Is he a new student?"
Daniel smiled warmly, his sunny disposition radiating through the crowd. The weaker boys, those who often found themselves on the receiving end of bullying, felt an unexpected warmth. His smile wasn't just a display of charm; it was a beacon of hope. They saw in him a potential ally, someone who might understand their struggles.
As Daniel continued walking, he couldn't help but think about his unique situation. He had the advantage of knowing the intricacies of J High's social structure, the various alliances and rivalries that shaped the student body. More importantly, he understood the roles of key individuals in the story, like Charles Choi and James Lee, and their connection to his perfect body.
Daniel's thoughts were interrupted by a loud, mocking laugh. He turned his head to see a group of boys huddled together, pointing and jeering at a smaller, frailer student. The boy was clutching his backpack tightly, trying to avoid eye contact. Daniel recognized him immediately: it was Jinho, a future antagonist who, in the webtoon, would go to great lengths to seek revenge against Daniel.
In the current timeline, however, Jinho was just another victim of bullying, and Daniel saw an opportunity to alter the course of events. He knew he had to intervene, not just for Jinho's sake, but to set a precedent for others. If he could show that bullying could be challenged and defeated, it would inspire other victims to stand up for themselves.
Daniel approached the scene with a calm, confident demeanor. He made his way through the crowd, his height and build allowing him to see over the heads of his peers. There, at the center, was Doo Lee, Zack Lee's notorious sidekick, towering over Jiho.
Jiho was pleading, explaining that he had no more money to give, having spent it all on Doo Lee's demands. Doo Lee, unimpressed and ready to strike, raised his leg to kick Jiho.
Daniel's mind raced. This was the moment to intervene. With a burst of speed, he disappeared from his spot and reappeared in front of Jiho. Using a Retaekwondo defensive move, he blocked Doo Lee's kick with a swift, precise strike to the shin.
Doo Lee yelped in pain, his leg throbbing from the unexpected impact. He stumbled back, clutching his injured limb. Daniel stood tall, his broad back shielding Jinho, who looked up in shock and awe.
"Who… who is this guy?" Doo Lee thought, the pain radiating through his leg. "He moved so fast, and with such precision. Is he some kind of martial arts prodigy?"
Daniel, on the other hand, marveled at his own control. He hadn't even used a fraction of his strength, relying purely on speed and technique. His body felt light and powerful, a perfect blend of agility and strength.
The crowd around them watched in stunned silence, their eyes wide with curiosity and amazement. Daniel's stance and calm demeanor exuded confidence and authority, making it clear that he was not someone to be trifled with.
