Veldora looked at the bloodied Akira and Moh, and the unconscious Lobha, his eyes burning with fury.
He moved instantly, reappearing with the three girls on his shoulders, laying them down gently away from the battlefield.
Their eyes struggled to follow his movements, unable to comprehend the speed at which he had acted.
"Rest now," he murmured, his voice uncharacteristically tender. "I'll handle this."
Veldora's serious expression conveyed the depth of his anger.
His usual jovial demeanor was replaced by a wrathful intensity that promised retribution.
Lucien, overconfident, lunged at Veldora, aiming to stab him with his black coated hands.
But Veldora caught his hands mid-air, his grip like a vice.
With a savage twist, he broke Lucien's hands, eliciting a pained scream from the Harpy King
.
"Aaaaagh"
"You've hurt my dear Grandchildren," Veldora growled, his crimson eyes piercing through Lucien's soul. "You will pay for what you've done."
Feldway, observing the scene, felt a rare tremble in his heart.
He realized that Veldora had surpassed all the living True Dragons in power.
Desperation clawed at him as he attempted to flee with Velgrynd, or more appropriately, Cthugha, planning to utilize Ashoka's summoning to deal with the varible that is Veldora.
But just as Feldway began his retreat, the world shattered around him like broken mirrors.
Reality itself seemed to fracture, and he found himself transferred to another dimension.
'No!' Feldway shouted in his mind, panic seeping into his voice. 'This cannot be!'
Veldora's form materialized before him, the dragon's presence overwhelming and inescapable.
"There's no escape," Veldora said, his voice a low, dangerous rumble. "You will face justice for your crimes."
Feldway's mind raced, searching for a way out, but the dimension Veldora had created using Dimension craft was absolute.
It was a realm where Veldora's power reigned supreme, and Feldway was trapped within its confines.
The wrathful dragon's aura flared, filling the dimension with a sense of doom.
Feldway and Cthugha braced themselves for the onslaught, realizing too late the true extent of Veldora's power.
Seeing that his escape was cut off, Feldway forcefully calmed himself down.
He had a backup body far from Veldora's reach, so it didn't matter if he died here.
However, losing Lucien would disrupt many of his plans.
He had intended to develop the fallen angel-harpy hybrid and then absorb him when the time was right to combat Ivarage.
But what is a few more years? He'll start anew he'll just have to wait for a kid to be born.
Veldora, staring them down, began to be covered by a mechanical armor forged from his own power.
It was a legend-grade armor crafted by Charybdis's special scientists, and herself, from something they called "the cube."
Veldora didn't fully grasp their scientific mumbo jumbo, but he knew the cube was a material that replicated the properties of Star Heart, a special material with extraordinary properties similar to hihi'irokane.
Equipment made from it could reach God-grade.
The cube would eventually transform into true Star Heart and lose its original replicating properties.
Since the cube had only replicated the armor for a few days, it had yet to be reforged into true Star Heart.
However, this was not the case for the deep purple blade in Veldora's hands.
It was a true Star Heart sword forged from the combined auras of Milim, Veldora, and Charybdis.
Its aura was thunderous and even looking at it was painful for the weak.
Cthugha, agitated, launched millions of holy arrows at Veldora, using the angelic attributes present within it.
But with a simple swing of his sword, Veldora unleashed a giant crescent-shaped lightning slash, dwarfing any mountain in the world.
"You think you can challenge me?" Veldora's voice boomed, his aura flaring with intense power. "You have no idea what you're up against."
Feldway, maintaining his composure, created a Dome of light in an attempt to protect himself.
Lucien, sensing the gravity of the situation, tried to break free, but Veldora's grip was unyielding.
The Harpy King's black energy was rendered useless against the dragon's might.
"I have plans that go beyond this battle," Feldway continued, his tone icy. "You may defeat me here, but the war is far from over."
"Enough talk," Veldora growled. "Prepare to meet your end."
---
The battlefield trembled with raw energy as Veldora and Cthugha faced off. Veldora, clad in his mechanical armor forged from the "cube," was a formidable force.
His Ultimate Skill, "Lord of Vengeance Alastor," drove his every action with relentless precision.
Cthugha roared with a voice distorted by divine power.
"D#vine F#ury!" she commanded, unleashing a torrent of holy fire.
The flames surged towards Veldora, but he activated "Optimal Path," his movements a series of calculated evasion and counterattacks.
The holy fire clashed with Veldora's star-heart blade, creating an explosion that illuminated the battlefield.
Despite the intense heat, Veldora's armor absorbed much of the impact, and he pressed forward with unyielding resolve.
Cthugha summoned "Heavenly Wrath," her wings spreading to release a rain of holy arrows.
Each arrow was imbued with divine light, but Veldora's blade created a shield of lightning that deflected the onslaught.
The collision of energies shook the ground, but Veldora remained steadfast.
Feldway watched from a distance, his demeanor cold and calculating.
He summoned dark vortexes to hinder Veldora, but Veldora, using "Unimpeded Path," tore through them with ease. His path to victory was clear, unblocked by Feldway's attempts.
As Cthugha unleashed "Celestial Judgement," a concentrated beam of holy energy, Veldora invoked "Persistence of Rage."
The beam seared through the air, its force intense, but Veldora's relentless fury allowed him to withstand the attack without much effort.
He advanced with renewed strength, each step driven by his unyielding rage.
The battlefield was a cacophony of divine and draconic energy as Veldora adapted to Cthugha's every move he hadn't apadted to previously with "Path of Vengeance."
His sword cleaved through the divine onslaught, his strikes precise and powerful.
Cthugha, in her distorted fury, prepared a final, colossal attack. Veldora, his eyes cold with pity, anticipated her actions.
He charged through the divine flames with a decisive blow, shattering Cthugha's form.
Her essence scattered across the battlefield, her colossal body disintegrating into fragments of holy energy.
As Cthugha fell, Veldora's expression remained stern, his heart hardened by the years of disengagement with his sister.
He had long abandoned any notion of love for his sister, only pity for the twisted form she had become.
He focused on the aftermath, his gaze fixed on the destruction left behind.
Feldway and Lucien, seizing the opportunity, prepared to escape.
Feldway manipulated dark energies to create a rift, while Lucien observed, his expression impassive.
Lucien made his move, tearing through the air with his dark metallic-coated hands, but Veldora intercepted him with a fierce glare which incapacitated the young king.
With a final surge of dark energy, Feldway and Lucien vanished through the rift.
