Lucian rolled his eyes, and hit Xander's forehead, 'It's quite rude of you to eye your brother like that', Lucian was speaking in a scolding tone. Xander's smile dropped, as his tone turned cold, 'why are you here?'. 'I am here, cause some immature brat, messed something up in finance', Lucian's eyebrows were creased, with a fed up look.
'Zayne is still useless, dawm..., well I will get going', Xander had already turned his back, and hopped in his car. As the grey car, zoomed into the gloom of the city, Lucian's gaze deepened, meeting that punk wasn't a coincidence.
He put a call through, and spoke up, 'send Xander's reports'. He headed straight for the hotel, as the busy city welcomed him, the grey car on his tail was welcomed as well. As he leaned on the back seat, with his eyes closed. The tablet by his side, chimed with a notification. Every move, his brother had made, in the past few months, were on the tablet by his side.
'His activities seem normal, so why is the punk on my tail?', he had gone through the file and was now staring in the rear view mirror. 'If he wanted to do the job, he should have done it right', Lucian sounded like an exhausted dad, this kid was really stressing him out.
In the underground parking lot, Xander was in the backseat of his car, with his eyes closed, and his back leaned backwards. 'Knock....knock.....knock', his grey eyes remained shielded behind his eyelids, he was waiting for the driver to do his job and get rid of whoever dared knock on his glass.
Not only did the driver not do his job, the impudent being kept knocking!!!. Lucian's patience had ran out, he opened the car door and got in directly, after closing the door, he leaned his back backwards. Two stunning men, in one vehicle, whoever made them was a cloning machine. They both had eyelashes, unfitting for men, god was really unfair, when he blessed them with their body, the driver suddenly felt ugly, just by staring at them.
'What do you need?', Lucian's tone was relaxed, his eyes closed. 'Is it wrong to want to bond with my brother?', Xander's playful voice was a huge contrast with his aura. 'Speak up, boy', Lucian's patience running thin.
'You got married', Xander's tone was now calm. Lucian's eyes shot open, danger danced in his eyes. 'If you have something to say, say it', he wasn't one for Xander's games.
'I just wanted to meet my sister in-law, it's been so long since I have had a sister', his tone was taunting, as his eyes remained shielded by his eyelids. Lucian's jaw tightened, as his gaze deepened.
'If you need a sister so bad, get your mother to adopt one, my wife isn't your alternative', his words had warnings, and Xander knew them well. 'Nah..., I want a sister in-law instead, I was thinking she had come with you, since she didn't.... get out', his eyes shut open.
'Your car stinks anyway, get it washed', Lucian left the car, with a disgusted expression. 'Since when, did he know how to joke?', his eyes followed his brother's back. 'He never jokes sir', the driver at the front seat, spoke a matter of fact. Xander was nodding in agreement, when he realized, the meaning behind his words, his eyes dimmed in frustration.
Lucian's playful look was long gone, as he walked towards the hotel lobby,, 'How did the punk know, he got married, even his grandparents didn't know about it, until he told them...., but this punk, living thousands of miles away, found out'.
In city Z, Addy could barely sleep, moving around on the king sized bed. 'What the h*ll am I doing here?', she was in the master bedroom, even with the lights switched off, she couldn't sleep. She glanced up towards her phone, it was 12am, and my rude husband, can't text me.
Her eyelids were beginning to close, when her phone buzzed.
'Are you asleep?'
'Did you eat dinner?'
'I am at the hotel'
A pic of the hotel room popped up on her screen. Her cheeks were flaming hot, 'get a grip, a text from the rude punk, should not make you falter'
'I know you are reading this'
'Reply',
More texts popped up on her screen, almost making her drop her phone.
'I am awake',
Lucian's eyes reflected her reply, his stiff jaw, finally moved, as he smirked. 'Sleep, wife', he murmured beneath his breath, as he stood in the balcony, beneath the night sky.
'You will be busy tomorrow, sleep', another text popped up. 'You are not mad anymore?', his eyebrows raised,as he sent another text. 'Should I be?', she sent another text, she was pacing about the room, her thoughts racing. 'You shouldn't, Addy', the text made her flush red.
'Okay', her simple text made a proud smirk appear on his thin lips. 'Go to bed now, Addy, rest', the text made her smile drop. 'The punk is getting rid of me, so quickly', she murmured as she snorted in annoyance.
'Sure, do the same L', she had been thinking about what nickname her rude husband, could get, L was the only one that made sense. His eyes shrunk, when the text popped up on his screen. 'If I said I want you back home, what would your response be?', this woman was suddenly bolder than usual.
'I miss my rude husband'
