"I told you Celeste that this was the last straw, and you didn't listen!" he spat out at her as he roughly grabbed her chin.
"I didn't do it! I have no idea what you're talking about!" She lied to him. However, she was wondering to herself if Malek knew. Did Malek somehow find out about the poisoning?
Malek then shoved her to the floor. "And you're a nasty liar you," he said in disgust. "We just told you that someone saw you at the military palace on the day Lady Tanya suddenly collapsed.
Celeste was in disbelief. That couldn't be. Who had seen her? Aside form the servants delivering meals there had been no one else there.
"Search the room," Malek then ordered the guards.
One stayed by Celeste's side and the others went further into the room and began searching.
"You had Tanya's room searched let's see how you like it," Malek said.
