Tanya made her way to the Lady Venira's wing it was in the concubines' quarters. Though she wasn't officially a concubine as the emperor's lover it was acceptable for her to live in the concubines' quarters as she certainly couldn't live in the empress's wing without the official title.
As she made her way she thought of Hardik and his reaction to bringing up the topic of his mother. It made her worried of what kind of woman she was.
Hardik was a wonderful and kind man from Tanya's perspective she felt in order to make him react like that, you must have really done something to hurt him if he reacted like that to you. Even Malek who is always rude to him never made him lose his composure. She was concerned as to what she would be met with. It made her wonder what kind of woman she was. Malek hated lady Venira as well, but it was understandable aa to why he didn't.
