Tanya smiled and nodded in understanding what Madea meant. In a way Mead and her were in the same boat. She didn't have any friends herself aside from the three at the palace; her former lady-in-waiting and the librarians. As Crown Princess, she couldn't spend her youth time the way other noble ladies did. Most noble ladies would spend their time going to parties and gatherings to make themselves known in high society and to give themselves the best chance to finding a spouse. In the process making many friendships and connections along the way.
As Tanya already had a fiancé and had to focus on her princess duties, she couldn't do that. Which is why she often felt lonely. Of course, when her parents were around it certainly helped but when they had to go on business trips it was difficult. When they passed away that's when Tanya really went through it.
"Shall we go home now?" Madea asked.
"Yes, let's go," Tanya agreed.
