Tanya continued to work with the army on researching the mines and made several breakthroughs in the case.
The General got one of the imperial scholars to help her conduct the research. Tanya called for her three former workmates in the imperial scholars' departments to help her and also she wanted to see them again. They sent out requests for documents from the suspected affected mines. The army asked for all documents and data pertaining to their mining activities.
After a few days, they received the documents and began to review them. After three days of going over the documents and clarifying information Tanya was satisfied that they had done a good job and went to see the General to present their findings.
