Celeste was informed that the planning of the ball had been postponed until the Emperor, Tanya and the court were done taking care of something which had come up. So in the meantime Celeste would resume her lessons with the lady in waiting.
It's like Tanya was the main character, everything revolved around her actions now.
She was making her way to the room where should have lessons when she overheard a group of people whispering in the hallway ahead to her left. She went forward and peaked. She found three servants talking amongst each other. She listened closely to hear what they were saying.
"Apparently, Lady Edom and Master Hardik were seen holding hands," one said.
"What?" another said.
"Well, they work together so it's no surprise why they would be so close," the third said.
"So, from the prince to the prince's cousin what an interesting turn of events."
