The following day Tanya thought of what happened the day before. She had failed to find the letters. She asked herself if Celeste had lied to her.
She saw Malek crossing the courtyard of his palace. She immediately thought of when he had come to see her during the night. He was probably heading to the military palace she thought to work. Luckily he hadn't noticed her and was focused on where he was going.
Tanya wished she could go to the military palace as well to talk to Hardik and at least thank him for saving her. However, with the emperor havon gordered her to stay put in the prince's palace and not do anything until further notice she couldn't leave unless going to the library which was nearby.
