Celeste's facial expression changed to one of disbelief.
"So far there are three imperial crimes you've commited. Possessing a highly potent poison in the palace. Using it to poison someone, as well as attempted murder," he went on his voice full of spite. "You could end up in prison for life or receive the death sentence."
Celeste was in complete disbelief . She had thought she would be completely safe after attempting to poison Tanya but to see how she was being blamed for that very crime now she was in the very predicament.
The letter had told her so. So what was happening. She thought of how the letters had suddenly stopped coming after the poisoning and how she left in the dark. Had her accomplice implcated her? she wondered.
